“I recently stopped by Visalia MMA Gear for the first time to have my son's patch sewn onto his gi, and I couldn't have been more impressed. Eddie, the owner, was absolutely awesome and made us feel like part of the family from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was welcoming, and you could tell that everyone there genuinely cares about their customers.
Not only did they do an excellent job with the patch, but I also ended up purchasing some gear, which was top-notch. The selection was great, and the quality of the products exceeded my expectations. Overall, Visalia MMA Gear is a fantastic place with great people who truly go above and beyond for their customers. “I felt like I received not only the information I needed to be competent with my firearm but also guideline's to live by while carrying concealed. Our instructor, Marty, was very knowledgeable, honest and has a deep passion for what he does. He makes sure everyone feels comfortable regardless of skill level. I appreciate the patience he had and the fact that he gave real life scenarios/ drills. I would definitely recommend taking his class whether you are a beginner or looking to push yourself to the next level.”

“Very amazing place to go get shoes for almost any occasion. The staff were also very welcoming, helpful, and extremely kind. They have the same kinds of Nike shoes that I bought from another store a couple years, but cheaper. And they even have a 30 day return policy if you don’t like the shoes you’ve bought. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and I will probably be a regular here for the future. Thanks guys! Y’all rock!”

“I bought a pair of Nike shoe for my daughter a couple of months ago. The shoe quality became worn out. I brought it in with its original box and J.R was able to provide great quality service for me and my daughter by exchanging for the exact pair. My daughter left very happy! This is why we always shop for kids shoe at Famous Footwear!!!!”
“Absolutely loved my first visit here! Antonio was friendly, courteous, and genuinely personable — exactly what I want from a shop like this. He gave me space to try things, answered questions without overselling, and made the whole experience feel easy and low-pressure.
I scored a great deal on some mystery socks and a pair of Saucony Endorphin Speed 4s (highly recommend!) and walked out with a setup I feel great about. This will definitely be my family’s new running store — and I’m looking forward to joining some Thursday runs!

If you’re trying on in-store just to buy online — you’re missing the point. As someone who runs a business, I can tell you: local shops like this one survive on community support, not clicks. Amazon and Zappos (same company, by the way) don’t care if you get the right shoe. This place does.
The staff here aren’t snobs — they’re experts. If you feel out of your element, lean into it. Ask questions. That’s what local shops are for. I’ll be sending friends, family, and customers here moving forward.
Also… who goes to a shoe store without socks and expects to be given socks for their nasty feet? Talk about gross. Bring your own or buy a pair — it’s common courtesy, not a hotel amenity.”

Stopped into Lids and walked out with exactly what I wanted. They had a solid selection of hats, and the team there was cordial, helpful, and chill.
I felt kind of like a jerk when they asked what I was looking for and I just said, “Hats.” Like… yeah, obviously — it’s Lids. But they didn’t flinch or make it weird. Just laughed it off and kept it friendly and professional.
Nice people, easy visit, and a clean store. 5 stars all day.”
“Today I went in to the store at Visalia mall , this young man by the name LEO help us he was amazing best customer service ever from him he asked if he can help us find something we told him what we were looking for we tried them on didn’t fit .They didn’t have the size of jeans we were looking for he said you can order them online they have a lot and that he could help me do that if I needed help . He was so patient with us and helped us . Too often people only complain about what they didn’t like or something bad but this young man needs some recognition for excellent customer service I will definitely be going back to shop at this store !”
“D***. Sporting goods is always a great place to go. Sometimes you can be a little bit pricey, but they have really good deals. If you go out the right time, I always come here for football baseball. Anything even outdoor hiking things”
“I have been at this location multiple times,the gun counter is the best. The ticket numbers are in plan sight unless you want to try to cut the line. Counter help has to keep some people from cheating.”
