“I just visited Ganter Nursery in Vista—what an incredible experience! I picked up some gorgeous roses, fragrant herbs, and a beautiful hanging basket for my home. Every plant looked vibrant, healthy, and clearly well cared for.

The staff was absolutely wonderful—so kind and knowledgeable. They helped me choose the best options for my space and gave great advice on plant care. On top of that, the prices were surprisingly affordable for the high quality you get.

Their selection is fantastic! Whether you're looking for roses, succulents, herbs, fruit trees, non-fruit trees, passionflower vines, or shade-loving plants, they have it all. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone from beginner plant parents to seasoned gardeners. Can’t wait to go back for more!”

“Mike provide superb on-site personalized services, including expert landscape design and placement of flowers and plants. Mike was very patient with us as we took many decisions on where to plant items; he provided hands on advice on the new irrigation work, including doing a last minute check to make sure all of the new plantings had the right amount of irrigation. I would highly recommend Green Acres Nursery for your residential landscape work.”

“Really glad we found this place! We came looking for outdoor patio plants (almost missed the entrance, it looks like a driveway at first glance) and were very pleased with what we came home with. Affordable prices and the owner was so helpful in answering our questions, helping us select the plants that met our needs (we were looking for tall narrow plants that could create some privacy between our patio and our neighbor's), and in helping us pack the plants for safe transport home. “This nursery is top notch with the largest fruit tree selection I have personally ever seen . My girlfriend and I went on a tour and we had a great time. We are adding new fruit trees at our place and wanted to know what exactly to get and Steve and Dan were beyond helpful . I've never had a better time at a nursery, and I've been to quite a few . Thank you for your knowledge and expertise guys you didn't disappoint.”

“For Penske Rental: Good experience here! You can park your car in the customer parking lot, which will remain unlocked and free for you to come back at any hour of the day or night to pick up your car later. The man who was working inside was super helpful and friendly. I did not feel intimidated by the process of renting, picking up, or asking questions. The pick up process here took about 10 minutes, and I was on my way! I recommend scheduling ahead of time, online, for a fast, easy, pre-paid pick up! That's what I did. I will always pick Penske from now on! Penske is the only company that has unlimited miles for one-way trips.”

“Amalia’s Succulent is my kind of nursery.Whimsical grounds and a great array of gifts and plants. Huge nursery and helpful workers, the succulents are bountiful and affordable. My only concern is I have only been here once , even though I wanted to come here all the time there is no way for me to come from Monday to Friday as I’m working full time from 8am to 4pm, and on weekends they are not open which is mostly plant parents are off work and that is the day for them to do their garden projects , I would suggest to have the weekends open so we can maximize our time and maybe the staff can have their day off on Monday and Tuesday which will give them time too to do their errands on a weekday. And still good for the business and good for plant parents. I don’t know where I can come here again because of their business hours until then I can check out more nurseries that is open on weekends in the surrounding area which also offers the same quality of plants.”

“I have to share John the Opening Manager went above and beyond to take care of our home delivery. As with any business, from time to time not everything runs smoothly. We hit a few road blocks. Each time John helped us with the best customer service possible. I measure a "quality business" that values their customers a 100% of the time. Just not when everything is going well. How John handled our delivery hiccups. Shows us he genuinely care and takes pride in his work! His team Nat and Alan were great as well! We will continue to shop the Vista Home Depot with John and his team.”

“I have been shopping at this nursery often for the last year primarily because of the tremendous Customer Service I have received from Gillian. She is the one that is always there on Saturdays and Sundays. As far as I can tell, this feeling is shared by most every customer (new or repeat customer). Sometimes the wait is a little longer because Gillian is so thorough in answering customer questions. In my case, she has also taught me a great deal about succulents and cacti. I strongly recommend visiting this stand, it is a wonderful experience.”

“This place is insane it is a wholesale nursery so don't come here expecting to be able to buy a plant you have to have a business license in a resale number and you have to purchase at least $450 or more of stuff. This place is a nursery that sells to other nurseries that people buy from. Having said that if you have a business license and a business selling plants this place is absolutely insane they specialize in rare cactus and succulents there really is not another like it and they've been around for over 60 years. In order to make a reservation to come visit call in person and leave a message and they will get back to you explain what it is that exactly you're after if you do show up without calling show up to the office and speak to the owner and worker.”

“Bamboo Stu is awesome! Delivered 9 plants, carried them down my steep hillside, dug all the holes, planted and fertilized, and told me exactly what I need to do make sure they flourish. I should have a 60 foot long wall of 40 foot high giant bamboo in about 2-3 years! No more looking at all the junk in neighbors yard! Thanks Stu!!!”
