“I highly recommend this branch of Chase because of Frederick and the whole Walnut Chase team! The first time I went 2 months ago because my sister recently passed. I informed them....accounts were frozen. Debit cards don't work anymore. Standard protocol that gave me my initial praise! After two months, yesterday I first met Frederick to close my sisters accounts with all the documentation needed. He treated me with empathy and compassion. At one point he realized he was her banker! And it became more personal. He layed out the plan and the amount of time it would take for the process. They're on New York time so appointment for tomorrow 11am. Today we went through the process of unfreezing her accounts, issuing cashiers checks and creating a new checking and savings account....joint account. My brother didn't need to be there, but go to any branch to verify. Two hours later he did! Everything was a success! Frederick was very transparent, professional, supportive considering the circumstances, and funny through light conversation as the process is detailed and by the book and there is no rush. To be honest... this was a very somber moment for me to transfer my sisters hard earned money to me and my brother. Hats off to you Frederick and the Walnut Chase Team! See you soon!”
