“This past weekend I came here to pick up a couple One-Step Folding Stool in grey or white color. I normally don't shop at Harbor Freight Tools (HFT) so I didn't know where tools and stuff are located. I was running late on time and didn't want to waste any more time walking through the aisles, hence, I asked the staff for assistance. The lady was nice to direct me to the correct aisle. I only saw the stool in black color. I went back to the lady and asked if she can locate the stores that have the grey or white stools. She was kind to do a look up for me. Thanks for the extra attention and care!HFT in Commerce had 5 grey ones in stock. HFT in Culver City and Pasadena both had 1 white one, but no grey ones. You know what that means... I'm heading to Commerce LOL. Before doing so, I called HFT Commerce and spoke with a staff member to reserve 2 grey stools for me. They were willing to do so. That is what customer service is all about. Thank you!HFT has so many tools and stuff. Too bad I'm not much of a handy woman (but I can be if I need to be or I just pay the professionals to get the task done LOL), otherwise, this place would be fun to hang out at on a Sunday afternoon LOL. Anyway, if you need tools, HFT is the place for you! Happy Tool'ing!”
“We're repainting our whole houses's interior ourselves and I went into this process thinking I knew a decent amount of paint knowledge. I was mistaken! The reps at Dunn Edwards are by far the most professional and helpful I've ever encountered in the paint sector. I learned so much about the different finishes, finishes to use in certain rooms, paint wear, etc from Dean and Selina. Dean is the type of guy that you can tell doesn't cut corners and is a genuine hard worker.”

“My wife and I have only been customers for a couple of months now, but every time we stop in the service is fantastic, and the prices are comparable, or better, than the big box stores (Home Depot and Lowes). There's plenty of parking right around the store...you don't have to walk half a mile, like you do at the big box stores. We used to have an Ace Hardware near our home in San Diego, so we're really glad we discovered this location so close to home.”

I did my research online before visiting Dunn Edwards and found I wanted their "Straight to metal" paint.I took a piece of the antique with me to the store. I was helped as soon as I walked in, and they color matched the piece perfectly. The paint went on easy and settled on the piece beautifully. I couldn't be happier, and since the store is just around the corner, I will be back.”

“What I really liked about Walters was the web site. We needed a landscape transformer right away - the contractor was onsite - and they were hard to find, sold out everywhere I looked. Our contractor steered us away from the transformers at the big box home stores, he said he's had problems with quality in the past. So I searched online. In this instance, Amazon did not come through, anything good was going to take at least a couple of days for delivery, and appeared to be drop-shipped from other vendors. Walters has a bunch of locations in the Los Angeles area. I went on their web site, found what I needed... and of course it was out of stock locally. But the web site listed other locations and the stock at each, very clearly. This feature on the Walters web site is superior to Home Depot and Lowe's web sites, where they restrict information, making it hard to find stock quantities at multiple locations. Long story shortened... I bought a nice 300-watt low voltage transformer at 10 o'clock at night and picked it up the next day. It was a bit of a drive but we got it. The price was not discounted, if I had more time I could have searched for a discount on something of similar quality, which I may or may not have found. When the contractor saw it he said, "that's a good one." So all-in-all a positive experience.”
