750 Ste A Nogales St, WalnutI’ve always wanted to try this place and it took me a while to finally come in, but I’m glad I did. I got the medium green chilaquiles with an egg on top and a hot Americano. The chilaquiles came out really hot and had good flavor, and the chopsticks they give you actually make them easier to eat. The Americano was solid too and they use Klatch coffee, which I appreciated.
The café has a cozy feel with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s also in a strip mall with a bunch of car shops, so it’s a convenient stop if you’re getting work done on your car. I’ll be coming back to try their churros next time.

1251 N Grand Ave, WalnutI used to go to this one boba place in Monterey park called bubble crush and they used to sell this Thai tea smoothie that I have never been able to find in any other boba place. Well I did some research and I found this place. It came up on my Google, take a look at their stormy series. So I had to drive Saturday night to come try it out. It was pretty late Saturday night when I arrived but I noticed how clean the place is! I ordered through the iPad on the front and ordered a thai tea stormy with boba. Sat down and waited about 10 minutes before my drink came out. I didn't really communicate with the workers. When they brought out the drink, she didn't say much but called my name. So I guess maybe greeting customers when they come in would be something I'd change but other than that- the drink was great! It isn't exactly like the one I used to get but it's definitely super close! Will come again and possibly customize it!

Boba Time (Cafe BT)
19820 Colima Rd, WalnutI was out getting kbbq with the girls and we wanted to get boba, so we had planned to go to summerfield, but as the sky is blue, summerfield was full, packed, and had no parking. Thus, one of my girlfriends suggested we go to Cafe BT for their yogurt smoothies. I looked her up and down, slow blinked, and said, "Are you serious? Yogurt?" She then said "yes it's actually good," and we reluctantly went, expecting mediocrity, because who would think anything yogurt flavored would be worth my time. All that apprehension aside, I can confidently eat my words and say that that plain yogurt smoothie with boba is probably the best drink I have had in the past 5 years, blowing my expectations out of the water (they were on the ground). I could not recommend a drink more. I don't care that the drink was $8, as the price INCLUDES the boba, and also you aren't paying for mediocrity. Literally I find myself driving the 30 minutes it takes me to get to Cafe BT just for this drink, and it is worth it every single time.
