Pet Care

Trinity Animal Hospital
31 Ponderosa Ln, WeavervilleWe ❤️ Trinity Animal Hospital! While my boys are tentative about their relationship with Dr Nickerson and the vet techs who poke and prod them, I as their owner absolutely love TAH! Dr Nickerson is amazing with my cats and is so gentle with them. The whole staff treats my boys Leo, Boog and Sully wonderfully and it’s always been a great experience taking them in for their vaccines and exams! Around a year ago my oldest Leo had an emergency, and TAH took him in within the hour I called and got him sorted. My cats don’t look forward to vet visits, but I sure do! The staff is always incredibly friendly and excited to see whichever of my brood is coming in next! Shoutout to tech Holly, who is always super friendly and gives my kitties cuddles when she’s in ? could not recommend TAH more!!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Up North Confectionery, Mercantile & Eatery
480 Main St, WeavervilleVery cute shop and super friendly employees. We visited Saturday afternoon, just looking around. They've got all kinds of candies, soaps, tees and sweat shirts, gums, some candles, and other unique items representing the region. We bought a few stickers and after the employee was finished helping a group of 5 or 6 people with ice cream, we chatted with her while she rang us up. She told us about breakfast on the other side of their store and said we must try it the next morning. Then she said Randy's magic word - espresso - and that was it. We'd be there in the morning lol. We arrived this morning and again, very friendly employee. We both ordered the Mountain Sunrise grilled cheese sandwich. Egg, bacon, ham and cream cheese on our choice of bread with cheeses. Randy got it as is which incudes cheddar and pepper jack and a mule sauce (not sure what exactly this is but we were told it's spicy) but because I'm a pepper-spicy whimp, I skipped the spices and changed my cheese to just Swiss and the cream cheese that comes on it. The sandwiches take a while to make but they're so worth the wait. We both loved our sandwiches. Randy's was LOADED with cheese and he could only eat half. He went on and on about the amount of cheese and how much he loved it. The man was in his happy place fo sho. He did like his coffee but didn't love it. We would definitely go back! Maybe for dinner next time since Bricks was a bust. They've got a different soup almost every day of the week and some of them were right up our alley.

Tangle Blue Saloon
160 Nugget Ln, WeavervilleI went for a pulled pork sandwich. Service was quick and pleasant. Fries were fantastic and hot. The meat of the pulled pork was tender and had great flavor. Bun was perfect. Sadly the beautiful pork was smothered in cheese and overloaded with coleslaw.

The Nugget Restaurant
622 Main St, WeavervilleWe've had a few breakfasts here, always good, and then we tried a few slices of different pies for a late evening snack. Holy cow, the pies were amazing. I am going to have a hard time not going back for more every day, especially until I try every kind. Probably some of the best pie I've had. I have no pictures because it was so good we ate it before it even occurred to us to take a picture.
