“It's a convenient place to get home improvement products but usually not my first choice as it seems more expensive than a Home Depot or Lowe's. It is clean and almost posh, pleasant to browse through but obviously less selection and less staff.
The garden department, on a recent couple of visits, had a lot of their plants wilting from a lack of care and watering. Having said that I have been looking for a native grass plant named Karl Foerster feather reed grass for ages, stopping by without much luck at some garden centers and nurseries both locally and in northern california, as well as online.... it was not available to even be shipped to my address for some reason. All of sudden I see two 3 gallon specimens at this garden center, looking poorly but I took a chance and bought them both. After dividing and planting them...they're doing great.
What really prompted this review is that they have an impressive hardware isle, with bolts, and nuts of all sizes and styles. Certainly a larger selection than HD or Lowe's, which limit their nuts and bolts to 3/4 size. Here they had versions of 7/8, and up to an inch bolts or washers. After visiting other stores and guess ordering on Amazon...I was finally able to find the right 22mm nut with the right thread cut. It made me so happy. I was beaming.”
“Went here the other day the employee that was working at night she was very helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to help me find the things I was looking for she had a positive attitude from start to finish I will definitely return for the things I need because I know I will get amazing help from her”

“I stopped by this Lowes in the morning to pick up my online order. I found parking easily here because it's in a big plaza and there wasn't a lot of customers here yet. They have some bbq grill in the front along with some flowers. When you walk in, you'll see a little gazebo which looks nice. I took a quick look at their cleaning supplies here because I was interested in some stainless steel cleaning supplies. The prices are higher compared to other stores so I don't know if they'll price match. The online pickup is next to the entrance behind the customer service area. I checked in through the mobile app so they already had my product ready. The customer service I experienced here today was great.”

“I normally don't write reviews for stores like this, but Ace suprised me. We needed an item for tomorrow and just remembered about it on the way home from dinner. Quick Google search showed that Ace Hardware sells it so we stopped by. There were employees ready and willing to help as soon as we entered. My wife is more willing to ask for directions so naturally she got straight to asking where to find it. I did want to look around a little, but apparently she didn't haha. At first they brought us near the registers where they were supposed to be. No luck and they even radio'ed others about it, apparently sold out... or so we thought. As we walked out an employee mentioned they should get more on Tuesday. Oh well, we made it to the parking lot and back in our car. The employee (not creepily) had followed us all that way with the item in hand! He said he had just found where they were stocked. I gladly walked back in to purchase it and appreciated their extra effort to help. Ace may not always be my 1st go to place, but it is nice having them as a local option.. much closer than their competitors on the other side of Simi.”
“Story time: First of all, wonderful friendly staff.
Today was not how I planned to spend my Saturday. Sometimes you take that corner a little faster than you thought and when you arrive to dispose of 20 gallons of paint, one of those gallons decides to go for a trip of its own. And a fall. And end up all over the rear end of your vehicle.
This didn’t seem to pose an issue to them, they promptly jumped to helping me with the mess, allowing me to take my time cleaning up.
Can’t thank them enough and would recommend their service to anyone.”

“Cory L, which was a new hired employee seem to know more other than GREG. When I was asked, do you need help, sir by another individual who has been there for years he only showed me what I guess he wanted me to see. But however, he did not listen to me. Cory L. Came over and said sir is there anything I can help you with. After explaining to him what I needed, he did not only go through the complete process of how a customer should be treated. I don’t know him personally, but I do know the type of character as well as the moral fiber he is made of. He also helped me purchase as well as pushing the shopping cart to the checkout. And proceeded to go far and beyond any requirements of an employee. Also thanks to GREG, which has been there for years noticed it. However, if you have employees there for 2 or 3 years and they treat other customers like they treated me. What kind of review would you expect me to leave? COREY, L. Should be in a management supervisor or supervisor position. “I had a very easy time getting supplies for my Eagle Scout Project where I was building a three section rabbit hutch for an elder home with twenty rabbits. The customer service was amazing from John Bryarly, Daniel Gutierrez, April Hernandez, and most of all from their manager Dennis Petty. When I had trouble navigating through the store there were people who were available to help. The pricing of the lumber was good in comparison to other competitors. Overall I actually enjoyed going there and I will in the future if I ever need something.”
