“Service was very quick and thorough with transparency about certain issues with my car before passing smog check. Owner was very kind to still take care of my car even though I took the extra time to have lunch in neighboring restaurant :)”

“If you’re looking for an honest straightforward, mechanic Mariano is your guy. I have been a longtime resident of Whittier and have tried many mechanics, but when I was given a referral to Mariano, I’ve been coming here for the last 15 years. If you follow me on Yelp, you know I’ve only given out five stars to two other places Honestly, Mariano deserves ten stars!⭐ -Many Blessings”

“I like coming her its quick and cheaper gas around. They do have a mechanic to do oil changes and other stuff. Not sure if i took a picture. But good service from cashier.”

“This is my spot! I live across the street so this is super convenient. The workers all have great customer service and are all very helpful. They even know me by name. The only gripe I have with them is that they are the only ampm that closes for over an hour and a half at night.”
15750 Leffingwell Road, Whittier CA 90604
“This was the very first gestation I ever went to when I finally got my permit! And I was excited to see that it's the same owner today that it was 20 years ago! Solid family :) clean, good business owners. Always polite and Friendly. Their gas station is super easy to access, and if the pumps are full, there's enough room to wait in a line without having to be in the street.”
8441 Pioneer Boulevard, Whittier CA 90606
“pretty small gas station but most of the workers are nice . Let's you use the bathroom or air if you buy anything in the store unlike the arco across the street that charges for everything including air or the bathroom”

“They usually have the best cookies but may have changed the chocolate chip recipe. BRING BACK THE SALTED CARAMEL COOKIES!!!! ?? ALSO best place to get a blended iced coffee for half the price of Starbucks”

“When in a pinch I stop off at Arco. This Arco gas station was very reasonable in gas prices. I would recommend this Arco gas station to anyone who needed gas in that general area.”

“Not everyone can be pleased with their experience all the time. I am Local support fanatic. I'm not sure Bessam is store owner,,but the man has a clean smile and a good spirit. I can't say that for 99.999% of 7eleven. I travel. These stores I know do well. And their restroom problem is a big one. So Chevron sells a 79 cent drink..I will pay 10 cent more to them because I see this restroom clean. I see other comments , as to the restroom,,but this time the place was sparkling. ( Americas greatest critic***me) Apprec✈️”

“It's the lowest price for gas around here can't see paying 4 dollars for gas. Who gets a raise in pay of over .40 cent or more in a day. Where will stop?”

“I Definitely Came In For Fuel To Get Back Home To Sun Diego. Oh Yeah The Gas Was Very Reasonable. I Actually Seen Plenty Of Snacks, Drinks And Adult Beverages. I Truly Liked The Clean Bathroom. I Also Appreciate The Awesome Service. Oh Yeah The Guy's On The Horses Was A Very Nice Surprise.”
10506 Whittier Boulevard, Whittier CA 90606
“The guy that was working late here is super nice and friendly and helpful. This little store really made a huge impact on me and made my day. It made me hopeful that there's still a lot of good people in this world. So I had to come post a review. :)”

“Quick stop for air tire before my appt in Whittier. The light on the dashboard warning. Went inside to get quarters from a dollar & the old man was kind to turn it on to use. He saw my worry. Bless him so.”

“I'm a regular here, not because the gas or even the location. They have the best car wash I've found! Not only does it do a great job cleaning my car but the owner goes above and beyond with customer service you just don't see anymore. Once you come out of the car wash you will see a table with cloths, windex and a bin to place your dirty cloths in. Several times I've come early enough to see the owner setting up the table. I was pretty blown away, seeing him, do it with such care, and taking the time to make sure his customers have the finishing touches they need. To the owner, whoever you are, THANK YOU!!!”
13363 Telegraph Rd, Whittier CA 90605
“Just went in today for another SMOG CHECK, as always they were awesome in regards to customer service, and they were fast. I don't even think I was there 20 min. The price is good also, I had my Honda van so it was $48, but I was charged $35(I think) for my Civic. Have five cars which I will continue taking there, and I tell all 400 of my coworkers to go here when they need to have their car smogged.”

“I recommend clean energy fuels because its a healthy way to better the environment our world needs it better air if people understood what some peoples creations have worldwide and its because as humans we think of the income not the outcome. Its natural but we can see hope for a greater outcome with clean energy fuels”
12515 Honolulu Terrace, Whittier CA 90601
“This is not a gas station as mentioned in a few reviews. It is an oil well that is drilled periodically. I live nearby and they are generally good neighbors and seem to clean up well after a drilling is done. And, as a bo us I get a small amount of royalties every year.”
8505 Pioneer Boulevard, Whittier CA 90606

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
