Price came out to over $20 bucks by an almost $2. The manager there, EVE, was absolutely amazing. She had me sign up for the rewards program. Walked me step by step through. Her energy was amazing! By signing up right then and there, my price dropped from $22 to $16!!!!! Eve was absolutely amazing! She listened, found a way to drop the price while still promoting her store and company! I was a little leery because there's a sign posted right on the machine that the store isn't responsible for any refunds related to the machine, but after going to 3 other places and paying for none of them to work I figured why not try and glad I did as the next nearest gas station was a few miles away, it was late night so no tire shops were open and was 15 pounds low in one tire, 10 in another. I've gotten gas there a few times also and no issues”

“Guy working the night shift at 1am on 8/1/26 deserves a shoutout. He’s always there grinding when I’m up wayy too late grabbing Zyns or caffeine, and tonight he seriously bailed me out. My Jeep died at the pumps around 1 a.m. while he was juggling customers and waiting on a delivery. He managed to time everything perfectly, let me use his jump pack, and got me back on the road. Huge thanks. Please don’t take this as “go ask employees to borrow stuff.” That’s not the point of this review. Do not do that. I asked if he could jump start me and I think because I’m a semi-regular he was willing to lend me his own charging pack worth more than the one I have, and mine was not cheap. I was an idiot and took my fixer upper down the road to get gas before testing it more in the neighborhood. The point is that he went above and beyond to help someone who was stranded, and he treated me with kindness when he absolutely didn’t have to. I wouldn’t have blamed him if he flat out said no to helping even jump start my car with cables. Maverik, fr this guy deserves some recognition. At least buy the man lunch, give him a raise, or pay him to be in a commercial. Employees like that are the reason people come back. 10/10”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
