“Our A/C stopped working in one of the hottest weeks of 2018. We called around to several Heating and Cooling businesses and only had two phone calls back. King Star Heating and Air called us back the same day and sent Benny out to inspect our A/C. It turned out that it was very old and had been on it's last leg for a while. He gave us an estimate for a new A/C with and was able to get us scheduled for install the very next day for a great price. I couldn't believe it! The guys that came out were great and so kind. Benny even stopped by on the install date to make sure everything went smoothly. King Star Heating and Air exceeded our expectations and gave amazing customer service. They made follow up phone calls to make sure that things were working well and that the crew took care of our needs. I am so happy we were able to work with such a great company. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Had ordered a shower online with a delivery date for today- the 20th of December. Found out this morning that it was in a warehouse in Canada and wouldn’t be here until after Christmas at least. I called the store to cancel and spoke with Holley, who beings she’s new, incorporated the help ofAnnabelle and Karen. They canceled my order in such a pleasant manner, and offered assistance to find something comparable. We ended the call with me needing to order on line. I did- the exact same unit. It had gone way up in price within 3 days since I ordered , and that I had cancelled an hour before. I called again. Bless Holleys heart because her and the other ladies honored my original price. These ladies made this entire experience very pleasant and personal for me. They cared! Something you hardly see anymore. I am sold on Lowes moving forward. Thank you ladies! “The shopping experience isn't as glamorous as the main retail store but you can find some great deals if you're patient and through. My wife has been looking for a specific refrigerator since the pandemic and she found it here for $1000 less than the retail store. I also got my dad a 43" smart Samsung TV for dirt cheap.”

“Big chains frequently receive bad reviews, largely because of staffing issues and trickle-down effect (issue) related to those issues. I wanted to take a minute to give some much needed praise to the management team at the Aurora Home Depot #1501 and Sedgwick, their claims management company. Exactly one week ago I backed my big ol' pickup truck into a parking space just like I've done thousands of times before. From the view of my backup camera I could see that there was a tree just behind the curb of my spot, what I didn't see was the tree branch that protruded over and into my parking spot...then I heard the sound of glass shattering and knew that could only mean one thing. The very cool all-glass rear door of my extended-height topper must have hit something...but what? I could see the tree a safe distance from my rear bumper in my camera, I was perplexed. This is where the "picture is worth a thousand words" saying comes into play. Either Home Depot or Sedgwick could have said "you backed your truck into a tree and think it's our fault?" Rather, they both saw their liability in the incident and ponied up to pay the roughly $1K it's going to cost me to replace the rear door. Thank You!”

“Today my son and I made purchases at two Home Depot stores, this one on Mississippi and the Pioneer Hills one on S. Chambers. The staff at this store are helpful, friendly and the store provides military veterans with a 10% discount on their purchases. We bought 4 items today. Then, because this store didn't have the toilet seats we wanted, we followed an employees suggestion that we drive to the Pioneer Hills store for them (he had checked stock online). The Pioneer Hills store charged several dollars more for the items we purchased and the MANAGER told us she was issuing the military discount. When we arrived home, we saw they had given my son a discount for one of the 2 identical items. So half a discount, or 5% instead of 10%. We will be staying with the Mississippi store in the future. Better customer service and staff we can trust.”
