“Was in town visiting Boulder from New England and stopped into this beautiful shop. So many pieces of cute jewelry and home decor! There was a sale going on for 25% off anything that included a stone, which was most of their store. You know I had to take advantage, so I got some laboradorite earrings! One of the shop employees asked where we were from and gave us recommendations for places to check out. She was so sweet and welcoming! Will definitely remember her kindness when I wear the earrings I got! I hope to visit again next time I'm in Colorado.”

An assortment of items at reasonable prices, from herbs to gems stones and books; even smokers are welcomed. “When I was doing a mid afternoon stroll in this neighborhood in Boulder, I stumbled upon this cute boutique. And I have to say that I had a wonderful time shopping there and conversing with the owner, Suzanne! While I was slowly proceeding my way into the shop, the lady at the register started a very friendly conversation with me so I opened up to her. She asked me if I was from around the neighborhood or visiting from a different city, what I do for living etc. I, in return, I asked her if she was the owner, and if so, how long she's owned the business etc. Originally from Mt. Vernon, NY, she's the proud owner of this adorable business for the last 28 years (might be 26 but close enough!) Her store carries unique (gift) items from music posters to art prints to jewelry to cute (inexpensive) clothes to scarves to socks to baby items...I mean you name it, right? I cannot believe that in this expensive city of Boulder, there exists a business that offers items that are so friendly in price! Although I wasn't necessarily in a shopping mood/mode, as soon as I found a couple of cute tops, I gave in. A sweater and a short sleeve shirt came to only $47.02 after tax. Not bad! This store appears to be locals' favorite (by reading others' reviews, that is the impression I get.) I really don't shop at those big-name chain stores for clothing so now I know a great place to shop for gifts/clothing in Boulder. It sure was a nice discovery!”

“My husband and I went to Hurdles Jewels in Boulder for my custom engagement ring. We worked with Keith (the owner of the family-run jewelry store) and Tracy, and they were both so kind, friendly, and wonderful to us during this process. Keith worked with us in-person and through emails to send us mockups of my custom ring. Eventually I wasn’t allowed to see the mockups, but Keith and Tracy helped my husband create the most beautiful, perfect engagement ring of my dreams. Every time I go into the shop in Boulder, they clean my ring for free and check to make sure all the prongs are still tight and my diamonds are in place. I also love going into Hurdle’s just to look at the beautiful jewelry they have on hand; they also have consignment jewelry that’s worth taking a look at! I would absolutely recommend Hurdle’s Jewels for anyone looking for any kind of jewelry, and especially for any custom pieces that will last a lifetime.”

“I walked in at random. Was so pleasantly surprised by the wonderful and unique collection, all price ranges included. Ended up falling in love with a pair of earrings that cost more than I was considering to spend, but could afford and I was considering. The woman helping me said she would hold onto them and let me think about it and come back if I like. So warm and earnest. Not trying to force the purchase on me. “This past Friday I had the most pleasant experience at Tebo Coin. I have had some coins that belonged to my father in law for over thirty years and had talked to a few coin places and none of them seemed to be where I needed to go. Then I sold some gold about a year ago and asked about selling coins and he told me the only place to go would be to Tebo in Boulder. So to Tebo Coin I went. Tim was the main gentleman helping me and he was training a gentleman by the name of James. The knowledge Tim possessed was most impressive to my husband and me. It took about a third of the time I thought it would and I ended up with them paying more than I thought they would. Also I did not get the owners/managers name but he was equally as concerned that all was going well. I can not recommend this place enough. They are professional, warm and pleasant to work with.
