“Bought hiking shoes from Elizabeth. Extraordinarily patient and thorough in encouraging me to try every potential style and fit. I have narrow, low volume feet that seem to be spreading with age. To compensate for some discomfort I’ve had with other shoes, Elizabeth helped me find a comfortable Superfeet insert. Anyone would be fortunate to have her assistance!”
“This is the ONLY running store I will go to. I have never had a poor experience coming here. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable (shoutout to Mike and Caitlyn). I recommend this store to everyone and will continue to come here!”
“Mark and team stand above the rest in terms of expertise and contribution to the Boulder running community. In motion staff are patient and helpful with rehabilitation, gear recommendations, and training tips. Additionally, as the only locally owned running store in Boulder, it helps to know you are supporting an independent family business that continues to contribute to the local community”
“I've been a loyal customer of Active Imprints for over 8 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for orthotics. I have multiple foot challenges—including partial toe loss, high arches, and wide feet—which have made comfort a lifelong struggle. The orthotics I've received from AI have been a game-changer. Danny and Jennifer consistently craft products that are both incredibly comfortable and impressively durable. If you're looking for custom orthotics, I highly recommend starting with Active Imprints—they truly understand how to deliver relief and quality.”
“My husband and I both bought new running shoes and some socks with Charlie when we visited. We’re not serious runners, but Charlie still took his time bringing us plenty of shoes to try on, explaining why certain things felt good or didn’t and what different features did, and listening to our feedback. My husband said it was the best shoe buying experience he’s ever had! We’ll definitely be back for our future running needs.”
“On the west end of Pearl St. Awesome selection of clothing and shoes. They carry Orslow, Kapital, Engineered Garments and Herril to name a few. Check this place out it's a must see!”
“I’ve been traveling around the skate community for over 30 years, and one thing I always make time for in any town I visit is stopping into the local skate shop.
Why? Because skate shops aren’t just stores — they’re basically the community headquarters. You meet locals, sometimes find people to skate with, and honestly… every now and then you even catch a little shop drama when you roll in as an outsider ?. Some shops can be weirdly cold if they don’t know you.
But let me tell you — Colorado skate shops have always treated me right, and this one was no exception.
The moment I walked into 303 Boards on the Hill, the vibe was instantly solid. These guys were super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and before I knew it, we were going down a long nostalgic road of Colorado skateboarding history like I’d been part of the crew forever.
They’re not just nice either — they’re knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly know their inventory inside and out. Whether you’re looking for skate goods, gear, fresh clothing, or shoes… they’ve got you covered.
Bottom line: if you’re in the area and need anything skate-related (or just want to be around good people), this is your spot.”
“I did not go to the Newton Flagship Store, but I just had an experience with customer service and wanted to make sure that others knew about it. I just bought some Gravity 12s from the online store and I wore them a few times. I noticed that the sole of the heel was coming loose. I took a picture of it and sent it to customer service. I never heard back from them and I was getting frustrated with them. After about a week, I decided that I may need to find another running shoe. I got home from work one day earlier this week and there was a brand new pair of sneakers at the house! They were the same exact color and size! Nice! Thank you Newton!”
“I visited Beatrice for the first time last month and it gave me so many new ideas and optimism about how to dress. If you are seeking curated fine clothing don’t miss this boutique.”
“I’ve bought shoes in the Pedestrian Shop for over ten years. I return because I’ve always had excellent help from the sales staff, all of whom are knowledgeable about fitting shoes and recommending ones that meet your current needs. Today I walked in and told Fernanda that I wanted a pair of shoes with Vibram soles, which I’ve found so excellent for safely handling the variety of surfaces and weather I encounter while walking my dog. But I wanted a lightweight warm weather shoe, rather than the heavier cold weather ones I used all winter. She suggested a new style by Merrill, helped me fine tune the sizing, and advised me on how to keep their pretty light summer color clean. I understand that this store is a family owned business and that there are stores only in Boulder and Denver. I think we are lucky to have it in town and appreciate the fine service they provide.”

“Great store! I always bring my out of town guests here to pick up Colorado items because they offer unique things that are actually cute. Plus they have an awesome selection of baby clothes. Every time I come in there the staff is friendly and helpful- never had a bad experience and I ALWAYS find something for myself. Definitely make sure you swing by next time you’re on the mall. It’s hard to find gems like this!”

“Gorgeous higher quality shoes, boots, wallets and handbags. Great small gift ideas as well. The ladies that work here are always kind and personable. No one ever makes you feel like you're not welcome.”
“Huge shoutout to Maddie and Jess for helping me find my first pair of jeans in about a decade and post 2 c sections. I brought jeans online but I didn’t get the size right. I was so relieved to have help on finding the best shape for my body and the best size. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, even when it got busy. I will absolutely be visiting again when I’m ready for more denim.”

“I love this place. The quality is mostly unmatched. The styles are just the best. Hate the inventory cancellations that seem to happen with orders. Wish their inventory had up to date differentials so that it could mark things out of stock instead of playing the free people inventory lottery ?”

“Very friendly and accommodating staff that helped me out with opening the locked display cases and waited patiently while I tried everything on. I do miss shopping at Nordstrom rack cos you really can find good deals for brand name items.”
“Want to give a quick shoutout to Connor in Customer Service. Bought a pair of Boulder Summit boots after reading positive reviews. One week later they go on sale and I'm disappointed that I missed out. Contacted customer service and they graciously refunded me the difference. Thank you Lems for outstanding customer service.”
“The staff is so nice. There was a new worker and she did a great job. They have a wide selection of shoes. We got just what we needed in 5 minutes. We will return”
