Pet Care

Dusty Plains Veterinary
131 Co Rd 17, ElizabethDr.A has been my dog Finns Vet since he was born and he’s 9 now. Today they squeezed me in since I didn’t have an appointment because Finn hurt a toenail on his left front paw somehow. Dr.A quickly removed the broken toenail, clipped all his other nails, provided 7 days of antibiotics and the complete bill was $102!!!! So FAIR AND REASONABLE! All the staff are great here. In 9 years I’ve had zero issues and recommend them BIGTIME . Worth the drive I promise.

A Mobile Veterinarian: Pereira Stephen DVM
ElizabethDr. Steve and Morgan visited today to check out one of our cats. This is the cat the freaks out if we try to take her outside. Dr. Steve checked her over, told what he found and gave us the advice on looking after her. It makes a difference with them coming to you rather than going to a vets office. Our cat was a lot less stressed. Cost was very reasonable too.

All Paws Veterinary Clinic
34987 Co Rd 13, ElizabethI’ve been a client here for the last 2 years or so, and with a pack of 4 dogs, we love the staff and experience here. Abigail always answers the phone brightly and is enthusiastic to get my girls on the schedule. We have seen Dr. Sanderson regularly and are always pleased with our visits with her! My oldest female had CCL injuries this past year, and she was so understanding and knowledgeable about the injury and treatment while also having compassion for me as a dog owner, never judging, just giving options and answers with professionalism. Always. Recently another female of ours was showing some scary symptoms of respiratory distress, and under their care she was back on her feet. They got her in the next day after the call, and kept an eye on her vitals, and Dr. Sanderson gave us multiple calls throughout the days to update and inform us.
More recently, I had a visit to get stitches removed after an incident between my dogs. Abigail booked me in THE NEXT DAY like Amazon prime.. I was scheduled to see Dr. Peters, whom I have not met yet. Having such great expectations from All Paws, I do not feel as though Dr. Peters met them. She did not bother to introduce herself, and seemed rather annoyed at our presence. My dog can be nervy at times in the vet so I always treat our visits like a training session. After my dogs stitches were removed without any fight or fuss, she popped up where I then gave her a jackpot of food on the ground. Without saying much more, Dr. Peters wore a look of disgust on her face and left me feeling very judged. I know it was almost lunch time for the staff, but I spent 35 minutes driving to the facility, and less than 15 minutes inside. While I was in and out and thanked them for squeezing me in, I still left feeling very confused. I love the All Paws staff and will continue to come back, just not to see Dr. Peters.

Highlands Australian Cobberdogs
38801 Private Rd 17, ElizabethThis is the first time I saw Highlands Australian Cobberdog on yelp. I was shocked, almost angry, by the negative reviews. Because the reviews are completely different from our experience. I spent two years searching for a puppy when I retired. In 2018, I found Nick and adopted my dog daughter. She is healthy, smart, beautiful, playful, fun with perfect temperament. Nick is such a great breeder, I followed every instruction and read all the books and information he recommended. Since then, I read extensively regarding raising puppets and cobberdogs. I could attest everything Nick shared are textbook accurate, and experiences learned from real life. In 2021, When our dog daughter was three, I called Nick telling him that we were ready to have another dog baby. After the long wait, we got a little boy. This time I flew to Nick's farm in Colorado to pick up the puppet in person. Any people who has some amount of knowledge SHOULD know no professional breeder would allow any stranger to visit dog nursery to see new puppets and dog parents, because breeders need to protect their dogs, as strangers could unknowingly bringing virus/germs and wiping out entire litters. When I was leaving, Nick gave me lots of paper towels in case little puppet got motion sickness in car and airplane. Our new dog son arrived home with no accident at all. Like his sister, our dog son is gorgeous, smart, healthy, active, fun, and a quick learner. He is 2 and half years old now, knows so many tricks, including sing along with daddy. Our dog daughter and son have comprehensive pet care, they have been super healthy without any health issues. Both dog kids are such charmers, our vets, vet techs and groomers all adore them, sometimes I think they spoil them. I am in Phoenix, here I have met several Cobberdog parents who got their dog kids from Nick. All of them are super happy with Nick and their dog kids. Some of them are Nick's repeat customers. I could not recommend Nick, and his Highlanders Cobberdogs enough. A side notes: Nick is right, there is no bad dog, only bad dog parents. This theory is confirmed by the famous dog breeders Monks of New Skete in all of their dog raising books.

39520 Co Rd 13, ElizabethToday was our first trip there and we met a lot of wonderful amazing birds. We didn't really meet.Any humans which is okay because we were just checking the place out next time.We would probably pursue talking to somebody. All the birds look healthy and happy. There was one bird that seemed a little bit chilly. So I snuck over and close to the window.Hope I didn't make anyone mad. Noah looked to be shaking. Can't wait.To go back
