481 West Hwy 105 Ste 206, MonumentWe have an older dog who has always had troubles in the past with getting her nails trimmed. We started taking her to Dirty Dogs about a year and a half ago and they've always taken such good care of her. They're gentle with her and aware she's older and has some anxieties. Today they even squeezed her in to get a nail trim and a sanitary area shave because she needed it. Even if you're looking for just nail trims, they're awesome here and they really do put the dogs health and comfort first, which is so important. They are also wonderful and personal with the dogs. They know the dogs they're working with and they build a relationship. I cannot say how much I appreciate them and the work they do with my older dog.

615 Beacon Lite Rd, MonumentWe’ve taken our dogs to Country Critters (CC) for almost 20 years. The grooming is done by experienced staff. The owner is a Show Dog winner! We currently have four Cocker Spaniels of different ages, and they come home looking beautiful. We don’t want perfection, we expect kindness, love, and a job well done. The two dogs before them, were approximately 15 years old when I first took them to CC. They lived to 18 & 19 years of age and were treated with sweetness. Our younger dogs are spunky and they go into the “Salon” without prompting. We keep going back for a reason…

550 CO-105, MonumentI switched to CareVet of Palmer Lake because it was much closer to my new home and my senior dog needs more frequent vet trips due to some chronic diseases. The staff has been wonderful- receptionists are kind, the techs are knowledgeable, and all of the doctors I have seen have been excellent. My guy had a mass removal and dental prophy a few months back and they did great with him. He was also in recently for some urinary issues and the staff was awesome as always. He never seems stressed when he leaves the facility which says a lot- everyone treats him well there. Glad we found such a caring local vet.

17150 Mitchell Avenue, MonumentBoth of my dogs love it here! They have big spaces to run, play and explore in the great outdoors. Additionally, the team leads a long, structured walk/exercise period for all the dogs together out in their large fenced field 2 times a day, followed by nap time in their individual kennels. Also, the facilities are kept clean! My girls are not stinky when I bring them home, unlike some places we have tried in the past. So that's a bonus for me! We feel blessed to have found this unique camp for my pups, both for occasional daycare and when I need to travel without them!

65 2nd Street, MonumentStopped here with my wife for dinner on our way back north from Garden of the Gods, and it was a highlight of our trip! The service was prompt and attentive, with our food coming out remarkably fast.
We started with the Seasonal Bruschetta, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. For entrees, I had the Chicken Prosciutto di Parma-CO and my wife ordered the Grilled Bone-In Pork Loin—both were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.
Fantastic food, seamless service, and a great atmosphere overall. We will definitely be back next time we’re heading through the area!
