“I've been with UMB for many years, and all of their staff has always been respectful, helpful, and effective at meeting my expectations. I recently had a hacker gain access to my email, and through it, they managed to register a device to my online banking account, which was really scary. Fortunately, they did not get into my account because I had 2-factor-authentication set up through my phone number. As an extra precaution, UMB put my online banking on hold, and my account on fraud alert. They also had me set up all new accounts, which I've learned was a necessary step in securing my accounts. While I thought this process would be time consuming and difficult, UMB's Sara Arends at the Colfax location made the process smooth, efficient, and because she was so kind, even pleasant. Thank you Sara and UMB as a whole for helping me keep my accounts secure, and making banking with you a positive experience.”
