“BuckingHorse Apartments was my home for four full years, and if life circumstances had not taken me elsewhere, I would have gladly continued to call it home.
The apartments are spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and very well built. One thing I especially appreciated was how quiet my apartment was. I rarely heard my neighbors at all. At the same time, there are plenty of community events where residents can meet and get to know one another.
Maintenance requests were always handled promptly and courteously, and the office staff were consistently responsive, helpful, and kind. There are also community garden beds for residents who enjoy gardening during the summer.
Another wonderful feature is the location. The Environmental Learning Center and the Poudre River trails are just steps away, making it incredibly easy to spend time in nature without having to travel far.
BuckingHorse is a very well-managed property, and although it already has many excellent reviews, I wanted to add my own experience. I highly, highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to call home!”
“I just want to share the positive experience I had while getting everything set up for our daughter to move into an apartment at the Trails at Timberline. We ran into some tricky issues during the process of applying to be guarantors on our daughter's account, but thanks to the Assistant Community Manager, Jordan Wentz, everything turned out perfectly. Jordan spent a great deal of time working with me over the course of two days, never once leaving me to worry about what was going on. She spent a lot of time working with the VeriFast vendor to resolve the problem we were having when trying to verify our identity, and she did an excellent job of keeping me informed along the way. Jordan made it so that a potentially frustrating and probably impossible situation was only a mere inconvenience, and I'm sure she spent more time working on our behalf than I did! I am so impressed with the level and quality of customer service she provided. Kudos to Jordan for doing an excellent job!! We truly appreciate that we were able to work with her.”
“I’ve really enjoyed living at Terra Vida Apartments in Fort Collins. The community is well-maintained and quiet, and the grounds are always clean and nicely landscaped. My apartment itself is spacious with modern finishes, and I love the natural light coming in through the windows.
The location is fantastic — close to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to major roads, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The amenities (pool, fitness center, clubhouse) are a great bonus and always kept in good condition.
Maintenance requests get handled quickly, and the office staff has been friendly and responsive whenever I’ve needed anything. Overall, it’s been a comfortable, low-stress place to call home. Highly recommend to anyone apartment hunting in the Fort Collins area!”

“Had a water heater leak on 4th of July! Called into the emergency maintenance line and Bradley was here within 5 minutes. He addressed the issue, told me what it was gonna take to fix and stuck with it for a couple hours until it was resolved. Great job!”

“Jesse is literally the best maintenance guy of any apartment I've ever lived in. I've been here for about 7 years and anytime I've ever had an issue, Jesse is here in what seems like no time at all to fix it. He's respectful of my home, he's nice to my dog (who is inherently a man hater but loves Jesse) and he fixes things efficiently and quickly. I would be devastated if he ever moved on to somewhere else because in my experience a maintenance man like Jesse is very hard to come by. I hope you all as his employers are as appreciative of him as us tenants are. If I could give him 10 stars I would.”

She answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Her customer service was excellent, and she did a great job showcasing the property. But the process from beginning to end for me was smooth and Ellie made sure of that. “Worked quick to get our AC working. Had to order parts, they placed a large window ac unit in the apartment until it could be fixed. By day 2 the ac was working properly. I have lived here for 5 years, the new owners/management and maintenance are great and taking care of the property and very kind. So much better than the previous owners.”

“This place is aptly named. It has a fun vibe. Very nice junior-olympic sized pool and a nice hot tub. Amazing outdoor cooking area with multiple grills. Work/study area, yoga room with a TV that has lessons, a gym, and multiple areas to hang out and watch tv. Also you are eligible for 2 free beers a day for free. The only thing I didn't like is that your required to rent a garage. As someone who doesn't own a car, I think this is unnecessary. I do like that they offer studios. Apartments are very nice inside.”
