“While the parking lot is simply terrible (a considerable incline that causes your cart to roll away from your vehicle) and the lot is so small there is no room for cart returns, the store itself and the employees are amazing! I primarily do all of my grocery shopping here. Would recommend you check out TJ's and their reasonable prices and quality food if you haven't yet!”

I was contacted by Jared about my review. When I tell you he listened and made it right. Not only did he take accountability of the situation, he apologized, offered a refund/return ( my choice) and promised to speak to the associate I spoke to at the store. This and speaking to Jared is the reason why I am changing my 1 star to 5 stars. When I went back to the store (2/22/26) the leadership was friendly and kept apologizing. The chicken I got that day was fresh and I would recommend shopping at Shamrock. I do feel they put the customer first and will make sure they fix any problems you have. Thank you Y'all

I wish I had read the fine print on their website (couldn't find anywhere else) before purchasing. Unfortunately, I ended up losing 40 pounds of chicken because the company does not offer any guarantee on refrigerated or frozen meat. This policy is buried in the fine print.That was a costly lesson for me. Buyers should definitely review the return and guarantee policy carefully before making any purchase from Shamrock Foodservice Warehouse. I know better now!”
“Absolutely perfect!!! Lives up to its name. Delicious, meticulously prepared authentic Mexican food. Breakfast burritos were perfectly sized for a hearty meal withou being excessive. The carne asada burrito had balanced ratios of all ingredients while still generous amounts of lean well-seasoned carne asada. The salsa was spicy and flavorful. Cleanliness is an obvious strength here too. From the prep area, well stocked market and butcher counter,dining area and the well-maintained restroom, pride in cleanliness is obvious. We will be back. Next time I need to give the posole a try because it looked amazing and everyone seemed to enjoying it. A new Fort Collins go-to for our family.”

“I’ve been blessed to live in cities with thriving food co-op’s (Madison, WI, Ashland, OR, Bellingham, WA) and am so happy that Fort Collins co-op has moved to a bigger space and continues to get even more wonderful. The previous spot was charming but impractical: moving into the old Beavers market is a wild improvement and I’m so happy to support them.
They have some of the best local produce and are priced competitively with Lucky’s and Natural Grocers. And, it’s not owned by Jeff Bezos, so you can feel good about what you’re buying.”

Between the price of gas and food these days, who doesn't like a little incentive after spending so much on a necessity like food during the week?I received a whole quarter off my gas at the kind Soopers fuel center just for shopping and entering my phone number. Only problem is they are few and far between,yet still, it is very Much appreciated King Soopers . Now let's see more fuel centers go up ehh?”

“I have been shopping at this store for 20 plus years. I am so grateful for Rahul and Niki. They are amazing employees, keeping everything clean, paying attention to detail, making conversation with customers to make it a pleasant experience and making every trip I take to the store such a comfortable feeling.The prices are rising way too high, way too fast. So when the customer experience is gone, I won't be returning. But as long as the amazing employees are there, I will continue to spend my money at this store.”

“Always excited to go to this farmers market. Plenty of unique stands with everything that's in season plus lots of other goodies (breads, pies, tortillas, kettle corn, teas, and more). Probably the only downside for me is the location. I wish it was closer to old town and not on Harmony but at least this way they have plenty of space and parking. The MAX also doesn't run on Sundays so I have to drive or bike instead.”

“I love this place. We always get the chorizo here. It is so flavorful. Today, they had tamales- pork with red sauce and jalapeño/cheese. Phenomenal! I am very picky about my tamales and these are the best ones I have had in Colorado. All the staff are so nice, even with the language barrier. My high school Spanish isnt great.”

“Couldn't be happier! Asked for a spongebob underwater themed cake, but I already had a topper since I washed it to be specific. Asked if they could just make it blue and maybe add the spongebob flowers in the different colors. They went above that and added coral and bubbles! It turned out better than I could have hoped and all my friends loved it! Def recommend their butter cream icing too because it's the best! Thanks guys!”

“I love this Wal-Mart. It's clean, has what I need, and I'm not bothered by sales people asking if I need help every 20 seconds. Although, I must say, my overall favorite thing about this Wal-Mart is my favorite employee, fellow Detroit Jerry. If this man is having a bad day, you could never tell. He's always very polite, helpful and kind. He takes time out of his day to help anybody, with a positive attitude, and never makes customers feel that he's annoyed or doesn't have the time for them. He makes the time for them. And Wal-Mart needs more employees like him. I'm The Wal-Mart corporation is truly blessed to have the privilege of having this man on the their team. “I predominantly use delivery, which was horrendous at first. But now, my goods travel gracefully to my doorstep in a timely fashion… on a regular basis. That mixed with top notch customer service, gives this location a step above the others. Never had to wait long here, shelves always stocked, always someone around to answer questions. If you use delivery then get Walmart+, there are too many perks to list. Worth it!”
“Cesar and Nathan, literally changed my entire day. It was gonna go south real fast for me, and then simply being good humans, taking extra time and listening and helping me even when none of it was their fault or responsibility, changed my entire day, perspective, and made it to where I could get back on track. I just simply needed help earlier than they were gonna open, at the customer service desk. When I tell you I drove to 3 other king soopers and a Safeway and a Walgreens and no one would help me, I’m not lying. Stellar employees and even better human beings. Kind of people I’m appreciative of in this world. So whoever gets these reviews, know you got some seriously good people working for you that I think deserve some extra recognition and appreciation. “I’ve been shopping/volunteering at Vindeket for four years now and am excessively grateful FoCo has such an amazing resource. Vindeket became the linchpin to allow me to afford living in such an affluent/expensive town.
I started visiting when I began attending graduate school at CSU in 2021. Initially simply to feed my curiousity (being a fellow/frugal dumpster-diver), yet when I became food insecure due to higher-than-expected tuition fees, I frequented more in earnest. It’s kind and empowering to come gather food that would’ve been thrown away, helping negate the horrific food-waste statistics, but also selfishly gratifying to save hundreds a week on grocery bills (seriously I eat like a horse).
Despite all our donations consisting of foods past their ‘best by/sell/expiration’ date, I can attest (I am still kicking enough to type this out, no?) that after four years I’ve never had any health issues. As the website explains: use your nose and trust your gut! In fact, due to the oddities and unexpectedness of what grocery stores provide, I have access to a cornucopia of options!
Excluding two, Vindeket is run exclusively by volunteers. I won’t speak for everyone, but I endeavor to be welcoming, receptive and empathetic. However, we are only human and there are many more shoppers than there are volunteers. Thank you for your patience with us!!
Similarly, Vindeket relies heavily on donations from shoppers. If you are able to give, however little (even $1 is lovely! truly!!), we appreciate it. Please know it goes towards unavoidable bills, such as diesel and electric.
I am often doing parking lot duty, so if you see a figure with all the tats (Summer) or a flamboyant onesie (Winter) give a wave or hello! But also please know I cannot chat too long as there are many cars to direct! If you have any questions, wrangle a fellow volunteer and we will be as informative as we can.
Ultimately, Vindy is a rare bird. I am (once more) exuberantly grateful to be a part of such a worth-salt cause!”
