Akinz feels like the kind of place every town wishes it had but usually replaces with another candle shop or generic boutique. The designs are fresh, original, and full of personality without trying too hard. Meanwhile, most nearby stores seem trapped in an endless cycle of the same stuff.
Support local while also supporting your wardrobe, which may honestly need the intervention.
This place is fantastic. Come for the well designed threads, leave wondering why the rest of your closet suddenly feels emotionally unprepared.”

“I wanted give a shout out to Maddie for being super helpful. My wife had tried on a coat couple weeks ago. I should have bought it right then and there, but I wanted to get it as a gift for this fall. I got sidetracked when I called the store to see if they still had the jacket. It was already sold out at this location. Maddie jumped on the phone and found a coat in stock add another store and had it shipped straight to our house.”
“Desiree was absolutely amazing! We came in last night to look at boards, and she was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. She helped my teenager build the perfect board and kept a positive attitude and a genuine smile the entire time.
We even stayed past closing, and she never once made us feel rushed — instead, she continued to make us feel welcome and important. That level of customer service is rare and truly appreciated.
I’m beyond impressed with how she treated us and how much she clearly enjoys helping her customers. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a new board or parts. We will definitely be coming back!

“Amazing experience! From start to finish the process was so fun. Ron took the time to help me handcraft my blazer. Going over different material types, buttons, patterns down to how many pockets was great.
Ron took the time to help me select certain fabrics based on what I wanted to blazer for. He has an immense amount of knowledge and loves to share it. I’m absolutely in love with this coat. I will be back soon for another coat.
