We will only own Subarus until Buddy retires, and then who knows. “This shop was recommended by John at Performance Plus in Golden and he is a pro. I have a 140k mile '03 C5 Corvette, I think I had a transmission fluid change done at under 100K miles, but it was definitely due for another.
Brian said they don't flush the fluid which as I've been told can loosen up caked gunk in the tranny and cause issues, he just heats it up, drains it thoroughly overnight, then pulls the pan to change the filter etc, then close it up, run it and, then drain a second time. Sounded good to me! The tab was $450.00 which I'll admit surprised me but to know it's done right and it's good for many miles to come - ok by me.
And you gotta love a guy that owns an SL Mercedes 12 cylinder monster.
Great shop, great guy, highly recommend.”

It might take a while to get an appointment - they're usually pretty booked because they do such good work! But it's worth the wait!”

“I cannot say enough good things about LinDen Engineering in Golden, CO.
I was traveling through Colorado in my 2004 T1N Sprinter when I developed a P0299 underboost code and discovered a split upper charge air hose. After doing a temporary roadside repair in a Love’s parking lot in Trinidad, I carefully made it to LinDen Engineering.
Their mechanic inspected the van thoroughly, confirmed the issue immediately, and replaced both the upper and lower charge hoses. Most importantly, after inspecting the engine and turbo system, he told me the rest of the van looked great — which was a huge relief.
What stood out most was their honesty, deep Sprinter knowledge, and calm professionalism. They understood the OM647/T1N platform immediately and did not try to upsell unnecessary repairs. That level of expertise is hard to find.
If you own a Sprinter — especially an older T1N — this is the kind of shop you hope to find when you’re far from home.

Khai was amazing and polite and was able to get it over to a service tech (I didn't catch their name) who was able to fix it same day! So grateful for their help in an emergency!”
