“If you need to rent a moving truck, look no further. AVOID HOME DEPOT!

I had originally scheduled a truck rental with Home Depot in Golden, but when I went to pick it up, we had so many issues with the software they use to upload my driver's license. They refused to scan/take a photo of my license and said that it had to be done through the app that we could not get to work. They were incredibly unhelpful. After trying for over an hour (with mutiple different phones in different lighting conditions) to upload the my license, I decided to take my business elsewhere and went to U-Haul Moving and Storage of Golden.

The process was quick, seamless and the people working there were friendly, professional, and helpful. Best of all, I saved money! The truck rental costs were significantly cheaper than Home Depot. I wish I had gone here first. When you're taking off work to move, your time is precious. Save time and money and go with U-Haul Moving and Storage of Golden.”

“Wow, what an upgrade from Public Storage! This place is clean and everything works! I went to see my unit on my own. It was very easy to just pop it open check it out. The lightbulb worked everything was in great repair. There was a dolly cart on each end of the building. I walked into the office to introduce myself to the property manager. I was amazed it smelled and looked like the maid service just left. The property manager is sweet, kind and honest. We talked about why I was getting a storage unit and that I was moving over from public storage It’s like night and day between the two companies! Idgaf about their move in for a dollar for the 1st month. Those guys jacked up my rent by $150 the third month in. They had some homeless people hanging out in a car inside of their storage place and they body blocked me into my unit while I was by myself. I will never again use public storage. This place is nice! No homeless people living in the units.”

I had a reservation for a 3/4 ton pickup to pull my travel trailer to Utah and back. while they had some unexpected inventory issues come up on the day of the rental... They kept me regularly updated as they were finding a vehicle. In the end, they pulled a brand new one off their holding lot which worked out great for me.”

We weren’t renting from this location but had a question / needed to modify our rental agreement on a car we had picked up at the airport. “Excellent experience. Store is well stocked and organized with all needed moving supplies and lots of box options (including all inclusive kits with various packing supplies, box sizes, and tape). The staff is knowledgeable and helpful in providing excellent advice. The vehicle rental was highly efficient, easy, and quick check out and check in. Dylan helped with my vehicle rental. He was very efficient and explained everything in detail including mileage and gas/fueling policy (he was very clear about how it all works and the importance of ensuring the vehicle is returned with the same fuel level to avoid additional charges.) Returning the vehicle was very easy, completed in under 5 minutes. (Check out took 10 minutes tops). Vehicle was clean and well maintained. Naturally, the $19.95 rental is the base rate and does not include all the taxes, fees, mileage rate or the pretty much required insurance. The rate is closer to $35 to $40 a day (depending on mileage it could be more). It is still a great deal and the service was amazing. Highly recommend this location. Dylan and his team are amazing, efficient and kind. We will definitely use them again.”

“I called the Uhaul customer service line because I do not have time to call each location to see which location has the pieces to install a hitch and also be able to do the correct wiring harness. The customer service lady gave me the Uhaul on the opposite side of town that had the correct pieces and could install the same day. Well I get over there to find out that they do have the correct pieces but the installation guy is out sick and the owner Dala does not know when he will return to reschedule. So I bought the pieces. At least I had the pieces and she nicely loaded them up for to me to take home. Ultimately, I feel like I should of been angry because services were not rendered. However the way the owner treated me and explained the situation truthfully being Memorial Day weekend to wreck my plans because her guy wanted an extra day off is really unacceptable. But Dala was exceptional giving me other options that another location can put it on for me. I'm going to go ahead and give Dala and this location 5 stars because at no time did she ever give me attitude or a problem. She had apologized and it is was it is. Thank goodness I did find another location to put it on but at least this location provided half of the project. I would still go back there to rent a truck or buy any type of moving necessities.”

“Just moved over the weekend out of state and everything went super smooth. They didn't have my furniture pads in time but I just ran to Uhaul and rented some there instead so it wasn't a huge deal. Saved me a ton of money vs using a Uhaul truck too.”
