“I have been a Kay customer for years, and I want to specifically recognize Bee and Kelvin at the Littleton location off Bowles Avenue for the extraordinary amount of time, patience, and effort they gave me during a very complicated jewelry exchange.
I had originally traded in a 1 ct. white-gold natural diamond ring toward a diamond tennis bracelet. After experiencing quality issues with the original bracelet, Zach at the Colorado Mills location helped coordinate an exchange and directed me to Littleton, where I believed I had found the pieces I wanted.
That is where Bee and Kelvin stepped in, and they truly put in the work.
They spent nearly four hours with me going through options, working through the trade-in, helping with the exchange, and trying to make sure I left with something I was happy with. This was not a quick or simple transaction, and I never felt rushed out the door. They stayed engaged, remained patient, and continued working through the process with me.
Bee in particular was incredibly helpful throughout the experience, and Kelvin gave a tremendous amount of his time as well. I know complicated transactions like this can be stressful for everyone involved, and I genuinely appreciate how much effort both of them put into trying to get everything squared away.
About a week later, I realized there had been a misunderstanding regarding the diamonds in the pieces I had selected. My original trade-in was 1 ct. of natural diamonds, and keeping at least that same level of natural diamonds — ideally upgrading it — was very important to me. I discovered that the pieces I selected included approximately .4 ct. of natural diamonds, with the remainder being lab-grown.
That was obviously upsetting, and ultimately I returned to Zach at Colorado Mills, who helped me get into a 2 ct. natural diamond white-gold bracelet that was much closer to what I had originally intended.
I mention that because I want this review to be honest, but I also do not want that misunderstanding to erase the amount of work Bee and Kelvin put in for me that day. They spent hours helping me, showed me numerous options, worked through a complicated trade-in, and genuinely tried to find a solution.
Customer service is not only about whether every transaction goes perfectly. Sometimes it is about how much effort someone is willing to put in when things are complicated, and Bee and Kelvin absolutely gave me that effort.
I appreciate them both for their patience, their time, and for treating my purchase like it mattered. Four hours is a tremendous amount of time to spend with one customer, and that did not go unnoticed.
