Grocery Stores
“Small community gas bar with all the amenities and friendly staff. Enough room around back to park 10 or so Semis. Closed kinda early (9ish) but still had a port o let around back ust in case!!!”
“Skip’s is such a quality of life upgrade for Fruita. City Market has its place and saves my buns with late night shopping but Kroger’s produce is pretty bad most of the time.
Skip’s has a wide variety of quality products, produce and meats. I really appreciate all of their local options. It’s so important we localize our food production and purchasing from nearby farmers is such a huge part of that process.
Nice, informative folks as well. I enjoy going into the store.”
“The store is clean and well-organized. And they fit a ton of products into the space they have (slightly narrow aisles with tall shelves). They also seem to have a lot of people working - even somewhat late.
Minus 1 star because some of their pricing is clearly set to take advantage of the vacationers/hikers/campers coming through.”
“Amazing place, they have so much there, just not everything is a dollar and I kinda wish everything there was! There are so many aisles but some things are just spreading everywhere like their was a stuffed animal in aisles 9 when there are supposed to be in aisles 5 (need to fix that), some things are also not cleaned and even everywhere which is not that big of a deal! The bathroom is clean!Recommend for people who want to save a dollar on a few things!”
“I absolutely love this small town county store! Melanie and Addison are the best! Always a warm welcoming face when I walk in! I will be a forever customer because of these two!”
