“This week I had the opportunity to finally get my truck in the shop while my wife was on business travel.
I dropped it off on Monday evening and Tuesday morning, Chris from Christian Brothers had my truck in the bay diagnosing my complaint. He quickly determined that the spark plugs were bad and needed to be replaced. He also found that my battery’s CCAs (cold cranking amps) were lower than they should be. After letting me know what the issue was the team went right to work making the needed repairs (per my approval, of course). They replaced the spark plugs and did some test driving only to find that the plugs cracked again. They told me they wanted another day with the truck to replace the plugs again and do some test driving.
They called me on Thursday afternoon saying it was ready for pickup. I’ve done a lot of driving today and it seems to be running very well.

“The service I received from Pep Boys was outstanding and far exceeded my expectations. We initially called someone else to our home to replace a dead battery. They couldn’t do it as the positive terminal was so corroded. After starting the car we drove to Pep Boys to see if they could fix it. As soon as I spoke with Patrick, I felt better. They were able to rebuild the connector and also replace the battery at a very reasonable price. Pep Boys is now my “go to place” for auto repairs.”
