“Very helpful. They ordered the size tires and tubes I needed for my pull-behind sprayer, they came in before 9:00 am the next day, I took the old wheels over to them and they switched them out in less than 10 minutes. I am impressed and grateful.”

“I will give all of the staff 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up. This is my favorite convenience store in town and will drive across town to do business here! Good prices, great staff, good selection and a clean store. The employees actually show their appreciation to every single customer who walks in the door which is always a huge plus. Their gas prices compete with any other gas station in town and are almost always one of the lowest prices in town. Kudos to all of the Stinkers staff (to those who don't know or aren't from Montrose, the store is Stinkers).”

“The same woman that I've been in there couple three times in the last year same girl still working there she's always pleasant friendly helpful overall I always have a good experience there usually just buy a pack of smokes cuz they're availability is usually all the time when other places around”

“Always clean and people are nice when you have a problem. The only thing is that it's very popular and not a lot of pumps and space for how popular it is. If you shop at the city market you can get a card and save on gas.”

“A popular fuel stop that gives a discount as long as you have a City Market/King Soopers free membership and scan card.My only negative comment is that it is very popular and can be difficult to maneuver a larger vehicle around to pull up to a pump; especially if you have a trailer.”

“It's a convenient store, and prices are on the high side, but what isn't expensive anymore? Most of the staff are polite. We all have our difficult days, some people more than others. Overall, clean.”

“I don’t come to town very often, but when I do I come here. It’s the last gas stop until Ridgway so super convenient. Food is crave worthy. Like, seriously. The sandwiches and breakfast burritos... Bathrooms, laundry, and showers are always clean.I prefer doing laundry here vs the laundromat bc I don’t have to worry about the machines ruining my clothes. They also sell quarters for them and the showers so makes that easy. It’s been about a decade since I stayed in the campground, but I remember the other campers being super fun and friendly and everything was quiet at night. Also, price was hard to beat!Reason I’m writing a review today is bc I saw a handful of negative reviews concerned with the price of gas… ok so gas is expensive everywhere except Texas, and even if it’s a few cents to a dollar more, who cares. This isn’t a corporate business. It’s small and independently owned, and the people here are personable, friendly, and fun to chat with. It’s not like if you’re from out of town visiting that you came on a budget… or you wouldn’t have come to the area. I have a feeling that these are the same people that don’t bat an eye for paying $20 for a mixed drink… Align your integrity people.I’ve been to 19 states so far over the years and this is still one of my favorite places that I will continue to support and re-visit.Only thing, I wish the showers came with a credit card option ^_^ Even if they charged more to offset the cost, the added convenience would be way worth it!Old owners and the ones are an absolute pleasure to do business with.”

“Navigating the scenic routes around Montrose, I found myself at a Phillips 66 gas station that was the epitome of convenience. Picture this: a sparkling clean oasis on the open road, with an air of simplicity that could put anyone at ease.Located conveniently en route to the airport, this gas station was a traveler's dream. It was a breeze to swing by, fill up the rental car, and make it back to the airport in a jiffy. The easy-to-use pumps and well-maintained facilities made the experience as smooth as the open Colorado roads. All in all, the Phillips 66 in Montrose turned the often-mundane task of refueling into a seamless stopover. It was like the finale to an enjoyable road trip, ensuring a smooth transition to the next leg of my journey. This isn't just a gas station - it's a pit stop that delivers on cleanliness, simplicity, and convenience. So, here's to smooth rides and even smoother pit stops at Phillips 66!”

“Stopped by to use the bathroom. Was surprised to see a full menu in back. Found that they make their own pizza from scratch. I had the Philly cheese steak. Hands down the best Philly I can find in the grand valley. The chef amd owner are great and a pleasure to talk to. Such an odd find, bit I'm glad I found it.”

“Not much to say. You drive up, turn off the engine, get out of your vehicle, go to the pump put in your card, follow directions, put the hose nozzle in the tank and turn it on. When it clicks off remove the nozzle put it back in the pump, close your gas lid, get in your vehicle and Crank it up and drive off. Quarter of a mile down the road if a State trooper or cop pulls you over you better hope you kept your receipt, hahaha.”

“I cheated, but it wasn't my fault.I went to my reg car wash today and it still wasn't working, nor were a few others around town...so I headed on over to Golden Gate because I knew they also had an express car wash.To my surprise it was a really great car wash!I went with the $14 Ultimate Soft Touch Car Wash and I gotta say my car was pretty darn clean!I usually prefer a "touchless" wash but with all the snow and dirt, my car would still be smeared with dirt all-around...so this is truly the way to go until spring! They offer several different packages (the least being $8), so hopefully you'll be able to find one that best fits your budget. For dirt, caked-on mud and that pesky mag chloride I highly recommend coming to Golden Gate Car Wash!Great value for the price!”

“The owners are always super friendly. Have even seen the owner go out and use his personal air pump to help a customer that had a low tire. They could of easily sent her somewhere else. But he stepped up and did it with a smile.”

“Today my daughter and I Stopped in real quick and ended up getting a pizza made (it was delicious by the way!!) and visiting with Jon and Stacy who were working. They both had a great attitude and customer service was on point. We were laughing and joking and had a great experience!! It was really refreshing to meet people who seem to be happy with their jobs and treat Customers accordingly. I've been to this store many times in the past and never had a bad experience but never had a super memorable experience before today. Thanks for laughing and joking with us! We'll definitely be back!! ??”

“Not sure what or why other reviews are so bad, but I had a great experience. Ordered lobster bites, cooked well and quite tasty. Fish tacos….all out of anything but Alaskan pollock. So why not. Big slab of fish in a soft taco shell, but pretty good. Only thing I did not like was the packaged tarter sauce, from Heinz. Good fish deserves good tarter sauce, so figure out how to make your own. Otherwise, a great alternative to the frozen burrito from the attached convenience store. One of four in Colorado, hit ‘em up if passing through.”

“Very nice gas station with the pumps working properly and competitive priced gas. They not only provided soapy water and clean squiggies but they have squiggies with extra long handles to easily reach the center of your windshield on large SUVs and trucks.”
