“Friendly employees,clean store,variety of products. Within a short distance from my house.They have redone the whole face of the store and it looks very good. It is 08/06/2023,we needed some eggs so we stopped at Lagrees to get some. We ended up with quite a bit more than just eggs. It is still a clean store and the employees are helpful and friendly. “A great place to get something fast if you are near Highland Park Elementary. I wouldn't suggest going in with a big bag or a backpack because the staff seems to get a little suspicious of you for doing that. (I can understand why, so it's just something to keep in mind.) As a sidenote, the bathrooms here will need a key to get into (for security reasons) and you will need to ask a cashier for the key. Usually the staff is friendly. A good spot for a quick stop.”

“I go to this particular Dollar General often since I live close by. The selection could be better, and the prices certainly aren't the lowest, but it's convenient, and the employees are really great. They always greet you when you walk in (which isn't very common nowadays) , are friendly, and are very efficient in checking out when there is a line. They are really what justifies the 5 star rating.”

“Dollar General is our only grocery store within walking distance. The staff tries very hard to deal with the rigors of their jobs. Stock moves very quickly here so many times the shelves are bare but the aisles are full of unpacked stock. The staff should be complimented and better appreciated by some in the neighborhood. Rumors of threats from locals, an abundance of thieves, always under the threat of being robbed, the staff deals with a lot not in their job descriptions. Bessemer better wake up and start acting right because if this store closes we will all be walking to Soopers for milk and bread rather than to the corner.”

“We shop at the Pueblo West Safeway on occasion. The produce is high quality, prices on sale items are often very good, and the employees are quite friendly and helpful. Also, the deli section is quite good. The overall shopping experience is great except for one thing- there aren't enough electric carts available, and sometimes the only one not in use is being charged. One other nearby store doesn't suffer from this same deficiency.”

“The best butcher in town by far. Been coming here my whole life. They have the best chorizo in the world id venture to say. People from all over the country and world, order their chorizo. I used to have it shipped to me wherever I was stationed. The same friendly folks have been operating that place for years! They are more like family to the community.”

“I live close to this Loaf n Jug love the slushy Mountain Dew. I know everyone and most know me by yelling "Refill" when I come in. I don't want issues with anyone thinking I'm stealing! The one on Santa Fe night clerk told me I didn't bring cup in when in fact I did. Whole story for another day. I love this Loaf n Jug. Friendly help well trained they've helped me when my cell phone was taken, they've given me change for air wgen I was short. Great customer service. I feel wanted when I cime in. I worked 25 years at Village Inn. Customer service goes along ways. Keep up the good work. Thomas Cosgrove look me up on Facebook I make and sell whole Cheesecake. Look at my cakes.”

“Been shopping there since it was built. Things have changed over the years but they carry great produce. I usually can keep their lettuce and tomatoes will keep about a week or sometimes longer. Don't care for their meat we buy from a rancher now since the covid baloney. Their prices are usually cheaper than Walmart by sometimes 20- 50 cents cheaper. Watch the sales here and you can make out like a bandit. The people people is what brings us back. Henry in produce, Lee, Sherri, Paul, are our go-tos for help.”

“The best mission to deliver. The girl at the reception was very friendly and empathetic. Give clear and precise information. At 06 HRS I am attended to and assigned a door. You must move the axles backwards. And drop your trailer. You park in the truck area, when they finish unloading they take you your stamped bill. Nearby is a Love's where you can park without problems.”

“I had no intention of buying anything as I aimlessly walked the Walmart aisles waiting for my car tire to be replaced from an unfortunate event that happened hundreds of miles away in Rotan, NM the day before. It was a blessing in disguise that the Electronics associate, Mr. Filbert, was attentive and took the initiative to ask if I needed any help. Our conversation progressed to lighthearted speak of both our prior military experience. I realized afterwards how much his attentiveness & kindness through conversation impacted me that day and I'm sure influenced me to continue my drive to my destination (driving time alone, one way was 19+hours) in a much better frame of mind. I even ended up buying a great deal ($15) of a phone case (much better quality and price than the one I had my eye on browsing online) so it was a win-win that day for everyone! Thank you, Mr. Filbert and I hope the Dillon Walmart management will recognize your great customer service.”
