“We’ve shopped here in the past and it was not a good experience. I was regretting walking in from the start, however this experience was completely different. Mr Ramos, I believe he’s the store manager was friendly and helpful. The two young employees working the counter greeted us with a smile and were helpful and ready to assist us. Through conversation we shared that we were shopping for an upcoming FFA event and Mr Ramos said the store loves to support students who are in FFS and brought him a goodie bag! This is a complete change from the last time we were here. We will continue to support this store in the future. The change this man has made in the store is evident and definitely for the better! Thank you Mr Ramos for making us feel welcomed.”
“I went in today to try and find a pair of Ariat BOA boots to try on in person. Carl immediately warmly greeted my wife and I upon entry! He was appropriately professionally dressed and was incredibly helpful! I have been looking at finding a pair of boots, but have not received any help at other retailers where Carl came up with solutions and suggestions that all were legit and showed positive direction towards the end goal. He was an incredible salesman and I will be going back there and suggesting others to go and work with him specifically and suggest you do as well! The reason for only 4 stars comes from who is I am assuming the manager. She micromanaged the transaction from the boot selection to even his sock and insole suggestions which was not needed as Carl was professional and incredibly informative. She also argued me on the reason I wanted the boot I was looking for as well as argued the tech shown on Ariats website. When I went to show her the site so that we could come to an agreement before I spent $300 on ordering a custom order boot, she said she was going on lunch. This energy turned me away unfortunately from purchasing anything today, including the boots my wife was interested in. Thank you again Carl!”

“Always clean and I find what I need. But mostly putting this review for a person who helped me out the other day. It was a tattooed person with a mask on at the checkout. Literally so lovely and kind and left such a great impression for the store. Sorry I didn’t catch the name but I feel like people should always be recognized when they are genuinely kind!”

“Went to get what I thought were baby chicks. They let a man that was special needs do the chick holder. (Absolutely nothing against this man he was a very sweet man n I'm sure he meant well. God bless his soul) I asked for 2 baby chickens n instead ended up with 2 baby turkeys. The reason for my star rating is it is awesome to see a store hire people that are special like this gentleman. His smile was bright and he was a sweet sweet man. Definitely will support my local big r store in pueblo”

“We had a great experience at Mister Penguin. The staff was kind, helpful and came through for us with a last minute tux rental for prom. They typically ask for a two week turnaround time, but still went above and beyond to help us in a pinch. Highly recommend!”
