“Wow where do we begin. The hotel is in perhaps the most beautiful corner of Colorado. The foliage was ablaze as we arrived and the nearby summits received a perfectly timed dusting of snow overnight. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and has clearly been meticulously and thoughtfully renovated into a modern gem. Every detail in our room seemed like a conscious decision -from the high quality mattress and furniture to the aesop soap and relaxing bathroom. We look forward to returning to The Wyman and Silverton in the summer.”

“This is a beautiful historic hotel built in 1882. A perfect location in downtown. Easy to find parking. The only drawbacks are that there is not an elevator (so if you can not carry your bags upstairs be sure you get a 1st floor room). Also their is no AC in the hotel. This was the worst part for me, but again its a historic hotel and ac is not common in the mountains. I would stay here again.”

“Please preserve Silverton as it is. I remember coming here with my Dad 30 years ago and it still looks the same. Bless you all for that. We stayed in the Teller House Hotel. What a wonderful experience to stay in this historical hotel. There was no staff on site when we arrived. I called the phone number on the desk and talked to a live person right away. Got to see the room before I committed and she even was nice enough to give recommendations for dinner. No A/C in the room. But that was fine. We had a room with 2 QBeds facing the street. This room had a well appointed bathroom with shower. I think other rooms may not have that convenience in the room. We left the windows open till 10 pm and the room cooled down naturally despite unusually warm July temps. Big ceiling fan. We were never uncomfortable. The room was very clean, well appointed and had the modern conveniences, while still preserving some of that beautiful 120 year old nostalgia. There is a shared refrigerator, big ice machine, water, coffee, etc... Fantastic. And so nice to walk around and read the hotel history among the displays and photos. I'd stay here again for sure.”

“It was nice historical building. Everything was clean. I stayed in the hostel. They have fans for every bed. Body soap and towels were provided. It was close to town and they provide free coffee.”
