“I came to Subie Smith after having some pretty rough experiences for an extended period of time with the same mechanic, which previously treated my husband super well, so it was really sad. That situation left me feeling very frustrated, and I was devastated that I was still having issues with my car that they weren’t able to resolve. My husband found Subie Smith, which had excellent reviews. The crew at Subie Smith has not only been so kind, but detailed in every conversation. They fixed what we believe is wrong with my car and also let me know that if they didn’t accurately diagnose and fix the problem that, I would expect my money back, and that we would continue working on this issue together (!). I’ve never received this much kindness and integrity from a mechanic. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I’m truly thrilled to be giving these folks my business. Their free inspection also helped me understand how I should save my money to fix other issues on the car at some point. Even with that, they told me what could wait instead of pressuring me to fix everything at once which I’ve experienced in the past. They’re truly so awesome and I feel like I can rest knowing my old subie has an amazing team to tend to it as needed. Thank you guys SO much!!”

He is always accurate with his fair quotes. He will let me know which services are optional, and which are highly recommended. They provide rides and loaner cars as well. “Toni (manager) and Juan took care of our car for us at this Brakes plus location. We were a walk in and dropped our car off in the morning and their team was amazing because we were able to pick our car up right before they closed for the day. We got a full synthetic oil change and got our brakes replaced. Our car definitely feels better when we drive it. We'll be coming here again!”

“I would recommend the service department to anyone and everyone that is having Kia issues.
My car broke down due to common engine failure that was covered under one of Kia's class action Settlements. I got my car towed there late in the evening and Tyler got on it Right away the next day. His communication and customer service throughout this whole ordeal was fantastic. As soon as I got him all the documentation he needed he filed the claim right away. It got approved fairly quick. Maybe a couple of days later and they had my car ready for me within 12 days. Which is fairly quick for these engine swaps on foreign cars. Kia themselves held up their end of the settlement and replaced the long block with a new one at no charge to me.
Patty helped me out when I came in to pick up my car. This is the 2nd time ive been here and she helped me both times. Both times were a pleasant experience and all of my questions were answered.
I would say that overall all of the staff I encountered were friendly. One of the salesmen (i believe) even gave me directions to the service department.”
“I recommend this place to go for car repairs/maintenance needs. They are friendly, kind, and honest. Their prices are faur also. I really liked the idea one of the technician got in car with me and drove around the block to hear the sound I was hearing when I start the car, and continues when driving. They found the issue, and now the noise is gone within a few hours after I dropped it off.”
“Had an issue with my turn signal, I noticed a puddle under my car so I figured it was probably related. I came in pretty clueless about what was going on, and I always dread talking to mechanics because they make me feel small. Jaxon was extremely helpful, and although he was a big dude, he took the time to explain everything to me without making me feel stupid, which I really appreciated. He was professional, patient, and clearly knows his stuff. Also, dude is in surprisingly good shape for someone who spends his day working in an auto shop. Not to mention his smooth demeanor and incredible sense of humor.

“This is a family friendly business. Went in for an alignment issue and it ended up being a tire belt separated. They were honest and caring. They could’ve said I had more problems than it did and definitely could’ve taken advantage of me. They did not. They treated me like family. Definitely recommend this place.
