“I'm from the area and I got married one block up at the Victor Hotel. And I totally would have gotten married at the black Monarch if it existed when I got married , me and my wife and our whole family are deeply dark and spooky people with morbid curiosity and that place catered to all of those things. We had an amazing meal for my daughter's 21st birthday. I was being served drinks a good hour before dinner and they had some super high-end bourbon I had the best old-fashioned I have ever had served to me at the black monarch and I'm 40 years old so I've had a few old fashions in my life LOL we ordered our meal ahead of time obviously it was a five-course meal prepared specifically the way my daughter wanted it prepared with his own twist on the style and it was just amazing. I slept great the beds are super comfortable we had an amazing blood moon to that just added to the Ambiance of the spooky room we personally me and my wife had the Jack the Ripper Suite and my daughter and her boyfriend had the HH Holmes room and there's a lot of attention to detail there , everybody that was involved with our rooms or service our food are catering our drinks we were completely made to feel like VIPs because that was the exact words he used when we met him was we were the VIPs tonight anything we want!”

“Rachel was extremely helpful in guiding me (a solo traveler) in planning my time while in CC. The hotel itself is gorgeous and reminded me of a museum. I found a couple of very affordable treasures in the on-site gift shop. To top it off, the breakfast was delicious and the chef at Doc's kindly delivered it to the front desk so I didn't have to venture out in the cold. Highly recommend as a safe, clean getaway for a single woman!”

“We had such a wonderful stay at the Saint Nicholas Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado. This place is incredibly cozy and full of old world charm that makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. The historic character of the building adds so much personality, yet everything is kept comfortable and welcoming.

The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the pillows were perfect and easily some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling. You can tell the owners truly care about creating a peaceful, home like atmosphere for their guests.

And the massage at their spa was absolutely incredible and relaxing, professional, and the perfect way to unwind during our stay.

If you’re looking for a quiet, charming place to stay in Cripple Creek with real character, comfort, and a fantastic spa experience, the Saint Nicholas Hotel is an absolute gem. We would happily stay here again.”

“This is by far the friendliest casino I've ever visited! My dad and I stayed here in June 2026, and we had a very nice time. The bartenders, cashiers, servers, and front desk were all friendly and helpful. The hotel room was a little dated, but it was spacious and clean. Our stay included breakfast, which was made to order. Very tasty! The casino has a nice assortment of slots and video poker machines. Some of the casino noise comes up into the hotel floor, but we didn't and it disruptive. Overall, this is a great casino, and the hotel is an exceptional value.”

“The place was fun to play the slots really enjoyed it but for the “birthday month” they give you a token to put in the Zoltar machine could’ve had better things to offer I got a “free large coffee” I’m sorry but out of the hundreds of dollars we spent a coffee is ehh a better incentive would’ve been like 15$ in free play or something the Brass ass gave me 30$ in free play. Just saying maybe put better incentives in there the large coffee was kind of a disappointment.”

“Fun place. However, I wasn't aware I had left the casino and entered another until I couldn't use my voucher. A little hike going back and forth. Great time. Great service.”
