“Hands down my favorite place for board games in CO, we drive down here from Loveland litteraly just for this sometimes. Not to mention the killer music and book selection. The staff and owner are good people!”
“Lovely little shop with an elevator to get to all the levels. Staff is very kind and helpful. A wonderful place to spend time, whether or not you're looking to buy books! And a huge selection of that is what you're looking for.”

“Charming and cozy used bookstore. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. A wide variety of rare and also more widely known books, all in excellent condition! Pricing is definitely reasonable. This is the perfect place to spend a snowy/rainy day!”
“A must see. They have some incredible presses here and the staff was very friendly. They showed us around, and knew a lot of historically interesting stuff. The prints they make are very cool, and the shop itself is amazing as well. Lots of great books and stationery. Jasmine, the lady who helped me check out, was very kind and pointed me in the direction of everything I needed”
“Came here for the mini vendor market outside and eventually came inside to explore! There's a wide variety of books, music, and artwork that you can browse from. Have a nice list of drinks or small baked goods to choose from, which I ordered a cold matcha latte! There is plenty of seating near the entrance or back amongst the books. Definitely a unique place to stop by! I enjoyed conversing with the vendors outside as well.”
“Great facility and location! This museum is not just for kids but there are kid-friendly exhibits and activities. Some activities were more limited than usual during our visit as staff prepared for the holidays and special rides and exhibits. Many locomotives and cars cannot be entered but some can. Very friendly staff and volunteers.”
“Love this bookstore! Fair prices, and I love that they have a lot of paperbacks (it feels like most used book stores stock primarily hardcovers). Well-stocked sci-fi section. Great environment for browsing.”
“Charming bookstore in the Cherry Creek neighbourhood. Some interesting finds for sure with everything in amazing condition too. The two gentlemen working were very very warm and helpful as well.”
“We always find what we are looking for here. Fast friendly service and well stocked children's area and manga/graphic novel section. Lucky for me it's got a great cookbook section next to manga!”
“I come in here quite often! Really great customer service and i definitely find some great deals on books. I also like that they have a different selection of inventory every time I come here! Makes for a great experience!!”
“Going here was kind of healing to be honest. I’m a gay uncle and the last place I ever expect to see myself is in the children’s section. Not only did I find a great book for my nephew but the staff was so lovely and gift wrapped it free of charge for me. Would highly recommend to anyone!”
“Everything you didn't know you needed from a punk metal hard-core establishment. The owner Jason is awesome and you can't help but support an awesome place! Love and recommend ? ?”

“THE BEST book store in Denver!! It is organized so wonderfully. It has so many outdoorsy books, LGBT+ section, AAPI, Palestine, local writers, etc. HIGHLY recommend.”
“This Barnes & Noble is my absolute favorite—I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember. One of the things I appreciate most is how reliable they are with new book releases. Whenever a book is set to drop online, they have it in stock that same day—never late. For example, I collected all 23 volumes of Demon Slayer, and every release was always available on time, exactly as promised. The accuracy and consistency kept me coming back. Even with One Piece, I was able to get the packs before anyone else got the first rip. This location has earned my loyalty!”
“I had an amazing time in this little bookstore. It's honestly crazy how many amazing books are in there! Riv and Rileigh are both super friendly and helpful!”
“Jennifer (Tuesdays and Thursdays!) was so lovely and so knowledgeable and so helpful. Even if she's wrong about the Outlander series. ? If you need any help or recommendations, she's the one. 10/10”
“What a sensational bookstore! We got a quick orientation from the staff and then descended on the travel section and left with four great used books. They’re in really good condition and the price was only three dollars each. Can’t wait to come back, but we might have to consider membership!”

“Took my 13 year old in to grab a few things. Charming place with fair prices! Staff is friendly and helpful! The owner wrote their own program in Excel to track inventory and that's probably the coolest thing about this place!! A++ come check it out.”

“I really enjoyed my experience in this bookstore. It had been several decades since I had been in the store - and the ownership has changed since then.I really appreciated the diversity of subcultures within the items sold in the store. It is full of spiritual tools for those looking for personal growth and development. They sell a very large selection of recovery coins for those involved in 12 Step Recovery programs looking to mark milestones of sobriety, etc.I met and spoke with the owner Jenny D'Vega. She was very pleasant and eager to answer all questions I had about the products she sells - and their intended purposes. She shared her personal opinions about my face in a very brief reading of my face.I found her insight to be accurate in terms of how I experience myself.I thought that was very gracious and kind of her.”

“Great spot of you are a rock/gem lover or collector. It's just off of olde town Arvada. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely swing back by when I'm in town.”
“This place is a gem! There are many hard to find books! If you're looking for a special book that you can't find anywhere else, try here. Great service!”
“This place is amazing. I felt no judgement or rush or anything the other reviews said. I felt accepted and helped completely. I came in looking for offerings for my altar and I left with four books, a new tarot deck, anointing oil and my offerings. They're incredibly knowledgeable and helped me with every question I had. Their prices are reasonable too. I HIGHLY recommend. I will 100% be back. Yeah, if you come in 5 minutes before they close they're probably going to rush. I would too. A little common sense and human decency go a long way.”
“This place was awesome. It’s a gem of a hole in the wall bookstore with a cozy vibe and honestly fire selection of books. Really had a super great time exploring here. It’s also right next to a record store so this whole corner is great to explore and shop.”
“Such a fun, quaint bookstore. They had a variety of books and I really enjoyed walking around the store and reading the staff recommendations. Everyone was really sweet and I look forward to the day I come back - thank you so much!”
“Ok so the original Black & Read a few miles north is amazing, but this little hole in the wall storefront is still full of charm!! I feel like it gets a bad rap being compared to the other store. But we had fun (and love eclectic records!). Lots of great records, great prices, and is far more organized than other (very old) reviews claim. If you want a quick stop for some good tunes, a family game, or something to read, definitely stop in (on Saturdays!). We'll be back for the next treasure hunt”
