“Stumbled across this place in downtown Denver. Tons of costumes and accessories upstairs but the real treasure is downstairs where they have more boardgames than ive ever seen in one place. They have MTG, D&D supplies, amateur magic stuff, a chess section and even a pretty cool escape room. A definite hidden gem in the heart of downtown.”

“My mom and I stumbled upon this local gem on south pearl street while visiting Denver. The moment I saw this store I knew I had to go in. There’s nothing I love more than a small, independent bookstore and this one checked all the right boxes.

“Friendly helpful staff. Great selection of RC cars, parts, & pants. Good variety of D&D models. They're severely lacking in anything building anything miniature, i.e. I'm trying to build a birdhouse & make it have a nice mini yard & rockscapes & siding in the house but they didn't have a lot to choice from. I’m sure most hobby stores don't offer a lot of miniature items. Other than that great store!!”

“After having lunch in Golden we walked to town. This is like a General Store with all kinds of stuff. Great place to grab some Golden souvenirs, lots to choose from. They also have games, lots of candy, drinks all kinds of stuff you could image at a General Store. They also had a bunch of carved bears and things outside. Even if you're not looking for anything, its a great place to wonder through.”

“I travel the US frequently and have visited over 100 comic book stores. This store has to be in the top 3 best comicbook/action figure stores I've ever been to. Widest selection with some rare options you won't see at other places. I highly recommend coming here.”

“Hope Tank is so much more than a cute local gift shop (although it is where I get 90% of my holiday and birthday gifts every year!). The concept of "gifts that give back" extends well beyond support of the local non profits their donations go to. This concept is a true representation of what mutual aid can look like.They run programs and educational forums out of their store and host different local micro businesses at their space every weekend. If you truly want your money to go to the people in your community that need it most, this the place to go. They have limited shopping hours now, but you can support through donations to the store as well. Could not recommend this place more.”

“Ordered some fleece and bamboo jackets, was looking for a specific print that was made a while ago before I knew about the company. While watching one of their whatnot shows, they allowed me to do some personal shopping with Shannon and Tracy in order to see what they had left in that print. Shannon looked through everything, found the exact prints I was looking for and even in the sizes I was wanting to include a matching mama jacket for me. She then found some other similar prints and included a free pair of bingo sunglasses in my order for being patient with them (while they were doing ME the biggest favor!!). I’d be patient over and over again, this company is genuine and the people behind it truly care. Cannot say enough good things from what I have personally experienced with them. Shannon, Tracy, and Kelly are always a pleasure to purchase from. Thanks from Savannah & Oakley. ?”

“I really love this store and appreciate the workers. I usually don’t come to stores super late but as I was in and out, I saw and heard people getting upset with an employee who was simply addressing the time they close. That’s all. I’ve worked in customer service for years and understand how frustrating it can be when customers give workers a hard time at closing. They have lives and wanna get home. Maybe they have kids they want to go home to. Maybe they have to come right back in the morning and want to get some sleep. You never know so I just wanted to leave a good review because retail workers deal with a lot and I know id want someone to have my back.”
“Popped into this store on Saturday looking for a Birthday gift for my 2-year-old niece. We were immediately greeted by whom I’m assuming was one of the owners and asked if she could help steer us in any one direction. She showed us two sections with books and toys that were age appropriate and we found exactly the type of gift we were hoping for, which was loved by our niece and her parents. Shw even gift wrapped it for us for free and we had choice of tissue paper. These reviews are puzzling as our experience in this store was nothing short of pleasant and successful. There was a sign on the door about not using electronic devices (I actually received an important call I was anticipating while in the store and simply stepped outside to take it, not a problem at all) but I think that’s actually quite nice and perhaps should be more commonplace. If you are kind and respectful, I can’t imagine you won’t be treated with respect here in return.”
