“Typical Costco Gas Station. Easy in and out. This location would be fairly easy to navigate with a large vehicle or trailer. It is a little tight to exit, but not too bad, especially if you turn the opposite direction from the pump.”

“If you have a BJ's membership, you can get great gas prices (compared to what you'd see at Exxon, Shell, Mobil, Gulf, etc.) Its also a convenient stop off Rt. 10 in Southington - or off I-84, it's right off the exit. ... Now if you go into the store and buy some of their inventory - you save even more! Example: I paid $2.78 a gal. today, without any discount (as I didn't do any shopping, just needed petro) last week I stopped into the store for dole fruit cups and with the discount on gas for the purchase I had made, gas for me that day was $2.30 a gallon!! You can't beat that, NO BRAINER!!”
“Great prices for members only. Because of the low price, they are usually crowded. It is common not to get a receipt when you request one at the pump. Some of the buttons at the pump are worn-out, so if you don't have them memorized, you can't answer the 'yes' or 'no' questions.”

“Clean, easy to navigate, and relatively tame shoppers. This place is like an Ikea for food. For those who don't shop at Costco regularly (myself) this is quite dystopian. Cold industrial lighting highlights towers upon towers of consumer goods, neatly packaged and smelling of plastic. The building itself could house what feels like the entirety of West Hartford. Security is present, multiple times we were checked for our Costco card. The deals are good, not exceptional. Example: dyson supersonic is the same price on Dyson.com, and has far more colors. Nonetheless the place is fun with ample food and close, organized parking.”
“I wanted to purchase a cake from the bakery and there was no one who knew how to write on cakes and then an employee by the name of Jordyn came over and offered to try to write on the cake for me. She did a fantastic job and I was beyond thrilled with how the writing came out. She is DEFINITELY A TOP TIER employee. She has some of the best customer skills I have seen in a very long time. BJ's Is very lucky to have this young lady working there. Jordyn is the best!!!”

“The store is usually clean & organized.. however let's talk about the deli section, the wait time is sometimes 20+ minutes.. the ladies who work there are very slow & seem unhappy, but if the guys are working the deli area you can get in and out in a few minutes! Please work on this ppl have to go home & cook dinner, have kids to tend too, have places to be other than standing around over 20 minutes to get what we need when you have 3 ppl standing around.”

“They did a great job with tire replacement on my Tesla. They’re busy, but despite that tire replacement took about 1.5 hours. Very small wait room, expect to find something to do/ walk around Costco.”
“I stopped by the BJ's in Torrington, because I needed some honey and cheese. This BJ's surprisingly wasn't that busy on two nights before Christmas. It was well stocked, but it took me some time to find everything I was looking for because the layout of this store is a bit different from the one in West Hartford.There was a very kind lady offering samples of corn and apple sauce, she was working at both stations simultaneously. Each time I passed by her she offered it to me again. I told her, I just had it, she said "that's ok, have another one!" I always thought the people who check for your BJ's membership card as you're walking in was the most ridiculous job, because you can't really do much without your card. On this occasion they didn't ask for my card. I was convinced it was in my purse. After my shopping cart was filled and I went to pay, I discovered I didn't have my card. Lucky it was in my car, so all time wasn't wasted.Their job to check for your card, actually has a purpose, holding you responsible that you know where your card is.BJ's is a Club Warehouse. Their membership is $55 annually. This is where I typically go to fill up my car with gas. Their gas prices are the best.”

“I do most of my shopping at BJ's and do like the store and the environment it provides. What really made my visit exceptional was the assistance I received from Jamie in the Produce Department. She was incredibly helpful in guiding me through on what to pick to make my holiday perfect for my family and I. Her recommendations were spot-on; Thanks to Jamie, my holiday was one to remember! Highly recommend BJ’s in Southington for their excellent customer service and quality products.”
