For the reviews complaining about price, this is a speciality shop, with high end items, if you want cheap feel free to go get your treats at Dollar General or Walmart. But, if you want quality and the opportunity to obtain craft products look no further.”

    “This is indubitably one of the best African stores in Connecticut. It’s a one stop shop for every kind of African and Caribbean groceries. I visited today and was really impressed. The attendant I met was very courteous, and a good conversationalist with the most engaging sense of humor, that I almost didn’t want to leave. It’s family friendly; pretty close to the road, and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic.     “My friends and I got the opportunity to dine in at the restaurant today. It was a quiet setting but it’s very cozy. The general tso’s chicken with pork fried rice was absolutely delicious. That was the best pork fried rice i’ve ever had, you could tell it was flavored and cooked with love. Such a bonus that it is connected to the market and you get to choose between a variety of asian snacks! This place definitely feels family owned and I will definitely be coming more frequently and telling more people about this place! 5 Star”

There is a wide selection of products including Foxon Park beverages. There is an ATM that does denominations of $10, which is unusual, and can be helpful in a pinch. With a wide selection of beverages, snacks, candy, as well as staples you would expect from a convenience store, Kools Place gets Five Stars with ❤️. They do have tartar sauce, fyi. Just in case anything is a bit fishy.”

My husband and I chose to get our flowers from Stop & Shop for our wedding in November, and throughout the whole process we were really impressed by how knowledgeable and professional they were! Jackie was really on top of the planning and had everything ready exactly on time. We are flower novices so we also left much of the exact details up to Jackie, and final arrangements blew us and our guests away. Every time we stopped by we also admired all of the premade arrangements the floral department had, and we would highly recommend stopping by for any of your flower needs on your weekly grocery shop!”

    “My Walmart visits are so enjoyable for me, they have such a massive variety of items to choose from. My Hamden CT Store stocks just about all of your needs, I wish they would buy the closed BOB'S Store so they could make themselves a SuperCenter, it would be a nice welcoming for Hamden. There staff is always friendly and eager to assist you when you need help finding a product or item. The store is always clean of debri on their floors and also the bathroom is very pleasant when needed. I enjoy watching the partisapation of other patrons who also come to shop, I like walmart.”

    Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
