“Prices always beats everyone else. Customers know this and the pumps can sometimes get really jammed with a lot of cars. Be prepared to wait a while to fuel up. The exit from the fuel pumps is really bad. The should have put in 2 exits. A single exit for the store and pumps is a serious bottle neck and the road corners are too tight for pick ups and large SUVs. Those drivers are always hitting the curbs, Me being on of them.”
“Great deals on meats fresh cut in house butcher. Good selection of prepared dishes like, shepherds pie, meatballs, Mac n cheese, baked beans, stuffed peppers, kielbasa, pasta with meat sauce. Deli sandwiches made to order.”
“Just moved into the area and had an above average experience shopping at Geisslers. The place is modern and very clean. The best part were the two young employees they checked me out and bagged the food. This is an example of good young workers that care about their job. They went above and beyond for me and had a smile on their face. Both of them have a bright future.”
“I only shop at Aldi for our weekly grocery trips unless there are a few things they don’t offer that I need. This particular Aldi is one of my favorites. It’s clean and well stocked. I ordered my first pick up order off of Instacart which seemed like it would be easier since I had a sleepy infant with me. And it was! I think there was only one thing on my list they weren’t able to find and that’s less than usual when I go myself. There person who brought my food out to my car was very kind and loaded my groceries into my car for me. The only downside to this Aldi is how busy the parking lot is but it’s also conveniently right off the highway.”
“Always loved the Hampden Market and was so happy when Armata took it over. Love what they have done with the organization, automatic doors, and checkout registers. The staff is excellent: cordial and helpful.
One of our favorite items to purchase was mixed salads from the deli: egg salad, ham salad, and tuna. Tuesday I bought two pounds of the tuna salad and two of the ham salad. The ham salad was excellent - every bit as excellent as The Hampden Market’s was.
The tuna salad was another story. It did have plenty of bits of celery, but……. It was very dry and LACED WITH GARLIC POWDER (?) which could be smelled as soon as we took off the cover. Frankly, I don’t feel ANY garlic should be in tuna salad, but I think anyone would agree this batch would qualify as OVERLOADED with it. From now on I will ask for a sample taste.
Nevertheless, we love having Armata’s in Hampden.”
“Aldi may not have everything you need but it has really good prices on certain things compared to other local grocery stores, especially produce, and they stocks some items that you won't necessarily find elsewhere. This Aldi location is clean and well organized. Remember to bring a quarter for the cart dispenser tho!”

“I wanted to recognize one of your employees that works in the refrigerated produce section in the South Windsor store. I met Derrick last week while shopping for fruits and vegetables in the refrigerated section. Derrick was actively removing bad and expired produce as I was shopping. He helped me find vegetables that looked good and explained to me how much time and effort he puts into keeping the produce fresh every day. Good employees are hard to find these days, especially the ones that care about their jobs and the customers that shop at their stores. Thank you Derrick!”

“Aldi has great prices. Sometimes, you can't find US brand names, but they have everything, and it's so much cheaper than a regular grocery store. I shop at Aldis all the time. They are trying to open another 1,500 stores nationwide by 2030. Check it out if you can.”
“Well is just a great Grocery STORE. With a great selection of products. Superb meat department, a good selection of prepare food for a quick lunch to eat in the store or to take home, fantastic bakery with wonderful tasty goodies, Amazon returns can be brought to the store, great people working there that will be glad to help you, nice parking lot, and a wonderful catering section....my thanksgiving dinner came from there and it was SUPERB so when I finish writing review I will proceed to order my family Christmas meal. Guys good job!!!”

“Such a gem that I found, right here in my hometown! I really needed a purple onion, I did not want to go to a big supermarket. I did a search on what was near me, and BAM! I found this really nice Mexican convenience store. The owners are husband and wife, and are so nice. They have a great variety of items from fresh cheese, Mexican glass bottle sodas, coffee , fresh ingredients in the fridge, over the counter medicines, candies & cookies. And lovely artisanal cups, Jewelry and figurines. Their 2 year anniversary is Monday 01/22/24, an all day event. And they are passing out authentic Mexican calendars next Monday 12/11/23. Please stop in and show your support. Next door to them is a bakery store and next to that is my favorite AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant called Sarape's.”

“Last night 10/14/2024 around 7pm we stopped in to get some vegetables. I wanted turnips (not the waxed ones) and leeks. There was a gentleman named Chris working in the produce department. He went out of his way and went in the back and came back with a large bag of turnips. He said he could not find any leeks. It is because of people like Chris that go out of their way to help customers that I enjoy shopping at Big Y.”
