“I’ve been to a few Aldis in the area: willmantic, Vernon, south windsor, new Britain, west Hartford, Middletown, Groton, Hamden, Newington, Lisbon, from what I can remembered. I’ve only been here twice I think, it looks larger visually than some other Aldi stores. The products are pretty wide out there as any other Aldi store. Parking is moderately available and they have self checkout like most Aldis do which save you a lot of time”
“I really like this store. Shop Rite is clean, always well stocked, their produce is usually fresh with seasonal specials. In the meat department I've found a good variety of popular meats and the prices are much less than buying at Costco or BJs for the average buyer. Overall the store is large with a wide variety of choices in all areas. Weekly specials are nicely advertised in their paper flyers available in store, delivered to local homes and also found online. Don't forget to put the Shop Rite app on your phone as there are extra discounts available only with the app. Give them a try to see if they carry all of your favorite foods.”
“Omg I went join for the first time today first off the people working were so nice and so friendly and so very helpful, first I got stuffed cabbage 7 of them!! They are huge and taste so amazing and such a great price! I also go some sausages a huge pack for right around $40! I have found my new favorite place u will be going back again and again and again!..etc..etc lol”
“I stopped in Sunday for a few things. I needed some bottled water, but when I went to the water section most of it was empty. An employee named Kodi said he could get some from the back room. He definitely went above and beyond. A special Thanks to Kodi I greatly appreciate the effort. To management, I would hire him if it was up to me.”
“I came here today on Saturday, August 8th, around 10:30 am to get a ice cream cake, flowers and a balloon for my daughter's birthday celebration. I asked the man at the bakery if I could bring him an ice cream cake to write on and he said sure. Then I went to the flower counter and picked out flowers. The woman said she'd wrap them for me. I said, I had to get a cake first and I'd be right back.
I got the cake and brought it to the bakery. I told them what to write on it , and then I said I had to get the flowers and I'd be right back to get the cake. He said no problem, he'd leave it on the counter for me.
I went back to the flower counter. As she was wrapping up the flowers, I chose two balloons. She was going to ring me up, but I said, oh wait, I have a cake, can I ring it up there? As I turned to go get the cake, the man from the bakery was bringing it over to me.
I was in a hurry because we were heading out shortly for a spa day, and I so appreciated the extra help! The woman at the flower counter wrapped the flowers in pretty ribbons and said, I hope that your daughter has a wonderful birthday. I said thank you so much. She asked if I needed help carrying things out but I was all set.
It may have seemed small, but these 2 employees went above and beyond! Thank you so much for the great service!”
“Nice people work here!! There always ready to help the customer, actually when I think of it I've seen this at many Dollar General's! Thank you sales associates in a stressful time its nice to see your kindness!”

“New owners are amazing, very friendly and kind! They have awesome new sandwiches, My Favorite is the Cubano. They also have a soft serve machine! (It's coming soon) But hey the new owners are breathing new life in this store it's just overall the best corner store/deli in the area!”
“All I have to say about this particular Dollar General is that it is by far the nicest one that I’ve been to. I was in the area so I decided to stop in for a few things. It was clean, organized, nothing on the floors, no boxes everywhere and you could actually walk around without thinking you may either trip on boxes or have something fall on you. I go to a lot of General Dollars, I have one 5 minutes away from me and another 10 minutes away. I will no longer be going to these stores, only this one. The store manager, Kristen is an absolute delight! Asked how I was doing, talked to me the entire time I was in checkout and wished me a Merry Christmas! This store manager deserves a raise and an award for having the cleanest and neatest store! Outstanding job on her part! I’ll be back!”
