“Needed an inexpensive overnight room and it was exactly what we needed. This hotel seems to be an older model; if you’re looking for luxury and modern things, go elsewhere. I did notice some small holes on the curtains along stains from wear and tear inside mini fridge, bathroom and light fixtures… did this ruin my trip? Absolutely not. Bed was comfortable and clean, overall carpets and common areas were clean and spacious. It was raining pretty bad the evening we got there so we weren’t able to enjoy the pool, but it seems fenced and a pretty good size. Breakfast was pretty basic but items tasted fresh. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Don’t let the other comments scare you away!”
“Newer modern hotel. I like the fact they have 4+ carts for a 4 story hotel. (Read my other reviews for pet peeves) not only thst they have the airport style 3 wheelers. Easy to maneuver. The rooms are modern and spacious. Again missing the centralized light so you have to go in and turn on 4 light fixtures. The rooms thoughtfully designed to go from door width to WIDER making it easy to get your luggage carts in. Hotel has a bar and outdoor patio area. No free breakfast but there is a Whole Foods nearby if all you want is something light. Very close to several very good dinner selections. Quiet location. Staff actually remembered our check in name in the AM.”

“The ceiling has these stains, the peep hole was painted over so we couldn’t see who it was when they knocked on the door. The establishment was clean and plenty of parking. Easy check in and check out… Coffee Cart available in reception area & vending machine … No free breakfast… No amenities… but a nice picnic table where you can eat outside… river in the back of the property absolutely beautiful… I would definitely recommend… I gave a 4/5 because of the ceiling stain & peep hole being painted over. ..”

“The hotel was cozy and comfortable. The reception had great staff with Sims welcoming us and guiding us with all details. We had a pleasant experience. We got complimentary breakfast. Buckland hills mall is right across the street and great hangout place with shopping. There’s a Walmart , Marshall’s , Burlington all in less than 10
Mins drive. Great location. Laundry room was available with a dryer ( $ 2 per wash $2 per dry cycle). Over all great place for the price point.”

“I stayed here for a few days and found it to be an incredibly comfortable and practical choice for a longer trip. The suite was very spacious, and having a full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator made a huge difference, as I could easily store snacks and prepare quick meals. The room felt fresh and well-maintained, providing a quiet and relaxing environment that made it easy to get some rest. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was going well with my stay.”

“The hotel as a whole it's great, the rooms are comfy and clean and the service is perfect and friendly. The location is great if your up to walk to downtown(2 blocks) and the stadium is one block away. The hotel location itself is kind of bleh, the lot behind faces the highway and a empty lot which doesn't give confidence in parking safety but love that there is a gas station right next door.”
“The hotel was good, clean, bed and shower were great. The only hard time we had was parking. Truck would not fit in their garage, lots around were confusing saying 24 hours, but then stopped time at 3am. On street parking was to small for my truck. Tough stuff. Area seems very nice and cool to explore though. Cool views.”

“I had a great experience staying at Best Western Hartford Hotel & Suites. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options, and the free parking was definitely a plus.
One thing to note is that the hotel charges a $100 security deposit at check-in, which is refundable after checkout, provided there are no issues with the room.
Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would definitely stay here again. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced stay in the Hartford area.”
“Stayed here for a quick business trip. It’s a simple place, nothing fancy, but it did the job — quiet at night, and the staff was polite. Room was okay, could use a few updates, but everything worked.
I was in the area for a few finish carpentry projects — I run a local company called Door Construction based out of Worcester.
