“I was an hour away from home at a specialty vet with a sick cat when my car started behaving pretty alarmingly. These guys were nice enough to pull the codes and figure out it wasn't a safety issue at all, give me advice on how to best fix it myself as it was an easy fix, they did it immediately when I arrived, AND they only charged me 20$. If I could give a business 6 Stars they would get it. It's always tough to find a good and honest mechanic, but this place is both.”

“Brian performed a pre-purchase inspection on a 987 Cayman S for me, an out-of-state buyer who hadn't seen the car in-person, so it was important to get an expert opinion. It was clear from the initial conversation that he is very knowledgeable, passionate, and really cares about his work and doing right by the customer. And then he started on the PPI and provided updates along the way and it became obvious the dude is extremely detail-oriented, the exact person you want if you care about your car. I had him stop the PPI because the car had some issues which killed the deal for me, and he understood and ended the inspection early at my request. Worth every penny. I also work in German car repair and was overall very happy with my experience.

“My Dad has been going their his entire life. The mechanics are very intelligent and don't rake you over the coals. Family runs the business with the 2 brothers as the mechanics and the office manager is the secretary. They fix what's wrong and tell you what your vehicle needs and the cost of repair before starting the job. They're busy, and you need to schedule an appointment because they're booked solid. Although if it's an emergency, they will work you in if you leave your car there so they can fit your car in between their scheduled appointments. They're very well known, and when you ask someone where they take their car it 9x out of 10, Roots. Nice group of people, polite, and will go over everything that needs to be done to your car. I feel my car is in the right hands when I leave my car here. I am always pleased with them every time I've gone to them.”
“I was up from Florida and in East Haddam and my battery died, and when I jumped it the check engine light came on and it was idling very rough and not transitioning through the speeds very well. I called Mike’s b/c I had to make my way up to MA. He said the bays were full for the day but he could take a look in the lot, he ran the diagnostics and recalibrated the electronics and sent me on my way. He’s my new go to guy when I’m up here for the summers.”

“I have used Superior for body work twice: once where I paid out of my own pocket and the other through the insurance of someone who hit me. Could I have potentially found someone to have done the work for less when I was paying out of pocket? Perhaps. But I don't see how that would have been worth how smoothly everything went, the level of communication they had with me throughout the process (like when parts were on back-order), and the care I felt I was given. It was like working with your favorite cousin who you know kicks ass at what he does and is looking out for you.
Then with the work through the insurance company... Holy crap. They went to bat for me to make sure the insurance company didn't screw me. OEM parts. Amazing work. Countless phone calls and emails to make sure my truck was put back right when what went wrong was not my fault.
