Although the exact problem was not able to be determined, I very much appreciated the advice and options given as to recommendations for who would be better at solving the electrical issue with my car. I usually go to brand name companies but this auto shop has twice now provided exceptional service and quite frankly just seem to be all around nice people. I plan on sending my car off to auto heaven and getting a new one and ex per tech will be my go to auto shop. I highly recommend them.”

“Could be better on some quality of parts... bought some door vapor barriers. Barriers barely fit doors as they appear they were cut too small and holes in incorrect spots as well as the adhesive they sell as well is like trying to use tire bead seal that's been watered down and just drips right off the door”

“I've taken all of my cars to LaPointe over the last 20 years. I have also purchase a truck from them.
First thing to know. They are honest.
Second thintonk know. They might not get to your car if 5 minutes. That's fine for me.
If you take your car to another shop or dealer and question their quotes, get a second opinion. Lapointe wa my second opinion and became my first. We took our Subaru to a dealer for a radiator flush. They said we needed to replace the motor or it would quit on less than 100 miles. They just happened to have one in the shop.
I took my car to LaPointe and they flushed the radiator and said we were being taken.
The car now has over 200k and travels back and forth to Florida.
Trust Lapointe automotive. I do.”

“2nd time using Main Street transmission . Thanks cars lol. First time I had a Chevy Malibu with a 2.4 with the 6-speed paddle shifts rebuilt. And the second time I had my 2011 Chevy HHR with 2.4 auto with that one I didn't have a torque converter clutch it was highly recommended that I actually just switch out the whole transmission as well because of the metal shavings getting into the transmission. So I provided a suitable transmission with low miles which Mike and his team switched out within a day.. very reasonable rates to switch out a transmission I also was impressed with the rebuild time as well on my Malibu..”

“Fast, honest, and friendly. I took my Sentra there after a recommendation from my usual shop. They did tell me that it's first-come, first-served and I was lucky to be in the area in the morning.
What I immediately noticed was how many of the customers who came in were greeted, and I could tell some have been going there for some time, as they caught up, joked around, and laughed together. A good sign!
One of the head mechanics (didn't catch his name) came out to chat with the person next to me about their car. He laid out as they were working on her car, they saw another issue, and they talked about what her options were. They took care of it, and were very fair with her. Her regular mechanic recommended them too, and it was clear why.
For my car, which was VERY LOUD, the same person came out, said we can do this or this, but be aware that one is a patch, the other, is a longer term fix. He didn't try to sell my anything extra, just a fair assessment. I opted to go for the patch option, but I promised that I would come back in the future should I need to! He was confident in his team, and I'm really glad that my shop sent me their way! The price lined up with exactly what my usual shop said it would be, so I know they don't jerk people around!
My car purrs like a kitten now, and the cost was very reasonable.”
