“My old Toyota Land Cruiser was running very very rough. I called around town (and some Norwalk shops) and nobody would look at it for 2 weeks, Some wouldn’t take it at all, and others wanted $250 diagnostic charge. Not so at New Canaan Gulf. Matt B, the mechanic now running the business, agreed to take it right away. He diagnosed the problem(s) quickly, solved my problems in 2 hours, and I had my car back by afternoon for a fair price. He rebuilt the 50!year old carb, tightened the belt, replaced the spark plugs which were foiled from running too rich. Highly recommend this shop. I’ve read the other reviews and none of the complaints relate to current ownership, fair pricing, or ability to solve the problem. I think negative reviews from people who want free roadside assistance, or who are unhappy with Advanced Auto Parts quality should be deleted. Thank you, Matt. You’re a credit to New Canaan”

“The Mobil gas station on South Avenue downtown New Canaan is open 24 hours a day for your convenience. Although the gasoline is slightly more expensive, it's available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The higher costs do not defray the owners' operating costs, which are higher than most merchants in and around town. The Mobil gas station is located conveniently in the center of the pedestrian town where four streets intersect at a convenient community parking lot. You'll find gourmet sandwiches and Christmas ornaments inside with heated restrooms for your convenience. Most anything you're looking for is available at this convenient downtown gas station just ask the friendly staff who are available at a moments notice to serve you while repairing your vehicle. Leave this friendly place with a smile on your face knowing you've had the best service in the area. I highly recommend the Mobil station in New Canaan for convenience, location and excellent service.”

“I used to go to the Cvs on Park st. I've never had more of a horrible experience in the last few years. our family has been going to cvs since 1996, but i finally snapped i couldn't take the rudeness much longer. I switched to walgreens and i have never been more overjoyed. The lady's at the pharmacy are so sweet and funny, they treat you like real humans. I truly have never been happier thank you so much walgreens.”
