I brought in my 2003 Nissan Frontier after weeks of trying to chase down a check engine light issue myself. I had already replaced the O2 sensors, cleaned the MAF, and checked wiring — but the light kept coming back.
Jay at Howie’s Electric quickly diagnosed a bad ground and a faulty catalytic converter, both of which were causing the sensor readings to throw codes. He explained everything clearly, fixed the ground issue properly, and replaced the cat. After that, the truck ran perfectly and passed emissions with no problem.
Jay is a total professional — sharp, honest, and super thorough. The whole shop runs smoothly, and you can tell they actually care about fixing the problem right.

“As a general rule, I avoid dealerships after purchase warranty expires like the plague. Our Defender, out of warranty, developed a peculiar problem due to a fissure or crack in some sort of aluminum bladder that controls air pressure in the suspension. This is an unusual problem, my much closer to home repair person said go to the dealer and we did and we were extremely pleased. Pick up and delivered, repair completed, brought back to the house in the timeframe mentioned with a frankly quite nice loaner car in the interim. Maybe this part shouldn’t have broken in the first place, but it was not the dealers fault and consequently, we were very pleased and in similar circumstances would gladly return.”

“My car died on the highway last night, had it towed to Mirela motors OK. They were very prompt by midmorning. They told me what was wrong with it, in the process I asked them to check the brakes. A short time later I received a phone call telling me about the brakes and then not long after that the car was ready to be picked up. They were timely very very personable and attentitive, this will be my service center from now on !!

Try tell me my tire couldn't be plung due to were the nail was at. That's B.s. why would I buy new tire when my tire is already new. So you can plung it ( trie with the nail) sell it to someone else”

I had a great experience working with the owner, I arrived a little confused to see my car wasnt clean. I called it out to the owner who then personally redid the entire full detail and more than what I originally paid for without extra charge so make up for a employees mistake. Make no mistake this is a GREAT and respectable business who treat customers right. Sometimes employees take away from the owners name, however the owner treats everyone fair and right and timely. Will be a returning customer for a long time!!”

He really listened to my vision and provided honest, knowledgeable recommendations.
