“Yesterday was the first time we purchased our annual Christmas tree from them. All of their trees were perfectly shaped, full and fresh. And, the price was better than other retailers. This is by far the nicest tree we have ever found.”
“More selection than most nurseries. Pleasant and helpful staff. Free water and snack-sized ice cream! Very helpful on a hot day when I really needed it. Moderate pricing for most items.”
“Zentek farms is worth the drive, family owned farm. The staff is remarkable, they are such a huge help in choosing the plants and help load them in the car,Prices are extremely reasonable, plants are very healthy and great selection. Looking forward for corn season!! they have the best.”
“Last year, I purchased pumpkins for our kids event from Geremia Farms. Not only was I pleased by how friendly and helpful the staff were but the price was amazing! This is where I will be every year to purchase my pumpkins. Thank you for being kind and running a great business!”
“I visited this farm in Connecticut and had a great time. The grounds were well kept, and it was easy to find what was happening, whether you’re there for picking, learning about the animals, or just enjoying the outdoors. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and they clearly cared about answering questions and making the experience enjoyable. There’s a good balance of things to do, plus plenty of space to relax, take photos, and spend time as a family or with friends. Overall, it’s a solid, low-stress farm visit with enough to keep you busy without feeling rushed.”
“Stopped by the other day and was very impressed by the variety of colorful, interesting, and healthy plants! But meeting a few members of the friendly and helpful staff really made my day. Thank you, Tower Farms!”
“A great local Farm that has a mix of homegrown and Nursery plants. Always the best prices. It's great to see a farm where the family actually still runs operates and controls the entire process. Super nice people. You can get everything from house plants, outdoor plants, seedlings, Mulch and topsoil.”
“Gretchen who refilled my propane tanks was friendly and helpful. Even with the rain she had a smile on her face and got the job done quick! The Van Wilgen’s crew always makes my visits easy and enjoyable!”
“Great place. Bobby is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was able to answer every single question we had about the fish and plants. We purchased 2 fish, one butterfly koi and one goldfish. Unfortunately, one had died the next day with no explanation. I was devastated, so my boyfriend brought me back the next day to purchase another fish, but Bobby let us have another one since we lost our previous one.
Incredible service. Will definitely be back & will never go anywhere else.
Thank you!!”
“If you were looking for the best prices on vegetables, this spring, this is the place for you. This is my neighborhood store and I have been buying vegetables from Sisto for 15 years. Great service. Excellent value. Best prices on small vegetables plants around.”

“They did an absolutely beautiful job for my sister’s flowers! They were communicative delivered on time and the flowers were gorgeous. Also, really affordable, considering the number of flowers of the size of the arrangement.”
“We recently leased two palm trees and we could not be happier with our experience. Dom was exceptional from start to finish and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Delivery was able to be next day which was great. The delivery team set the two palms perfectly in the ground and were able to dig one hole very quickly. Highly recommend and so glad I was referred to Dom. Highly recommend for many reasons including their service and variety of palm trees! Thank you Dom!”
“As someone who works in the trades this is a vital store for me. The employees are very knowledgeable about where items are. They always have sales going on, especially for my beloved Milwaukee and DeWalt tools.
I'm basically there once a month to stock up on drill bits, misc tools, drivers, and welding consumables, albeit airgas in North Haven has a much more selective supply of welding gear, but can become very pricy when all I need is some 7018 rods or new gloves.
Even there garden center is top notch.
You won't be disappointed. Great place to browse and spend money.”
“Beautiful, fresh farm produce. Bought some field-grown tomatoes. Also some fresh figs- ate one in the parking lot before I left. Delicious. Got some Ciabatta bread and Italian plums. Associates are friendly and efficient. They have lots more too.7/23 Fruits of the Forest pie was Fresh and Delicious! Large tasty tomatoes, orange peppers, a large canteloupe and ripe peaches! Friendly associates too. Thank you- love this place...not to mention they have a huge selection of flowering and vegetable plants too.10/16 Great veggies- corn, tomatoes, red onion and apples today. Àpple pie çould use some cinamon / more flavor.”
“North Guilford Nurseries, besides having the coolest nicest family run operation, really is unique, perfect, off Rte 77. They have plants and flowers you won’t find anywhere—and the organic feel of the place will put a smile on your face the rest of the day☺️And the BANDS AND FUN ROCK!!!”
“Phil does an amazing job. I've been going there for years and I can honestly say that Phil provides the best customer service I've seen anywhere. He's knowledgeable, professional and he goes above and beyond.”
“I find their shrubs to be a good price relative to their size. Folks are friendly. They have a great selection of indoor and tropical plants in addition to perennials and hanging baskets. The nursery is a lot bigger than it appears from the parking lot.”
“Paul and crew installed a fantastic system. The zones were set up for shady vs sunny so i could save water on those shady zones. Very happy with the outcome. Would recommend”
“What a difference between this HD and the one in East Haven.. This store was clean, well stocked, and employees who were actually going out of there way to help.Is the East Haven store some kind of experiment?”
“Jermaine was extremely helpful and very professional. He is super knowledgeable and made decision making super easy! I will always be loyal to this location as long as Jermaine remains in charge. I have already told all me friends and family to ask for him when they shop in Wallingford Tractor supply!”
“This location takes very well care of the floral especially the out door. Everything was watered well and in bloom. All the perennials were in excellent condition.”
“Always come here when starting a project around the house. They almost always have what I need in stock, and the app makes it easy to find which aisle things are in. The self-checkout usually moves pretty fast too.
Took off a star because it can be really tough to track down an employee if you have a quick question or need something cut, especially on a weekend morning when it's busy. Once you do find someone though, they're usually helpful. Overall a reliable spot, just give yourself a little extra time if you need actual assistance.”
“I had a return a gift I bought for Christmas. I was a little concerned because I bought it on Black Friday (over a month before) but there was no problem. It was fast and easy!”
“Was helped by a very nice, knowledgeable gentleman in the Wallingford, Connecticut store named Bruce. Fully explained to me what I needed, and why. Even found the item I needed. Then thanked me for shopping there. It's that kind of customer service that will keep customers coming back. Thank you Bruce!”
“Needed tools in a pinch. Came in hand. The saw chain broke and (although a quick fix) i didn't know how to fix so job took a bit longer than expected. I suggest to ask service agent to give a quick fix tutorial on common issues. The service tech was very polite and accommodating.”
“Updated: Spoke with the assistant store manager and she came out and actually helped me herself including helping me load my car when she learned of my back surgery and changed that experience. I updated this review to a fight star.
Original:
Why advertise curbside pickup if the service isn't actually functional? I checked in for a curbside pickup order and sat in my car for over 25 minutes, only to discover no one was ever coming out. I had to go inside, explain the situation, and wait even longer while an associate was finally alerted to gather my items.
This is the only Home Depot location where I consistently run into curbside pickup failures. If a store doesn't have the staffing or system to support curbside service, they shouldn't offer it. It ends up taking twice as long as just walking in yourself.”
“I love this store! I can get clothing for working out, for casual that is quality and inexpensive, among other great merchandise, such as photo magnets, photo frames, groceries. The vision center is in the store to get my daily disposable lenses and or a pair of glasses. Staff at both places are very cordial, amiable, jovial.”

“Very Good employees who have the answers I am looking for regarding plants I am attracted to. Also a good offering of native pollinators and good advice on where to plant and what to look for in your plantings. Also excellent products to work into your soil to feed the plants and improve the earth around your home. Always an excellent variety of plants, bushes and books on gardening, including on bugs for our gardens. Love to come and bring friends, friends always enjoy the trip!”
