Yesterday, I took my mom’s fur baby, Soju, to MedVet Norwalk, and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and compassion and treated Soju with the absolute best care. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Morduchaer, Denise, Denixza, front desk receptionist , and Spencer—each of them was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain everything and made sure Soju received the best possible treatment.
Over the past few months, my mom experienced the heartbreaking loss of another fur baby. At the two previous vets we visited, the conversation immediately focused on high costs and a required 30% down payment—before even discussing treatment. We understand veterinary care is a business, but it was difficult to feel heard or supported in those moments.
At MedVet, it was the complete opposite. They prioritized care, compassion, and communication first, and that made all the difference. We felt respected, supported, and reassured—and most importantly, Soju was treated with kindness and expertise.
We are truly grateful for the outstanding care we received and highly recommend MedVet Norwalk to anyone looking for a veterinary team that leads with heart. ??

3 Wall Street, NorwalkI’ve only been to Troupe 429 once, but after a friend recently mentioned that some women or people of color have felt left out here, I felt compelled to write a review based on my own experience.
This is a wonderful establishment and one that should be protected at all times.
I came with a group of four girls and two guys (of each different ethnicities) We were all dressed provocatively, intentionally because we knew this was a place where we wouldn’t be sexually harassed. All of us were straight women except for the guy, and honestly, we had the most fun we’ve had on a night out in a long time. No feeling of being treated differently.
As a woman, I can’t go out dressed provocatively almost anywhere without feeling sexualized. But here? I didn’t feel that at all. The energy was loving, joyful, and safe. People were there to dance, to exist, and to be themselves, not to make anyone uncomfortable.
Toward the end of the night, the owners even gave out free pizza, which was such a perfect cherry on top. At one point, I stepped outside and a drunk man from another local bad was being… well, drunk & acting up. One of the owners immediately came out, stepped in, and told him to leave making it very clear that we were protected. That meant everything.
Troupe 429 is a place where anybody can dance, let loose, and truly be themselves without fear of being hurt, judged, or disrespected.
One thing I will say: be prepared to DANCE. And not just standard club dancing. I mean getting DOWN, going crazy, and letting out all that pent-up emotion. If you’re wearing something warm when you arrive, take it off… because you’re going to get hot and heavy in the best way.

We were there yesterday on NYE, Luka gave us a great recommendation for wine and then gave us a wonderful glass of champagne to toast in the New Years!! Highly recommend this place, it’s going to be our go to Italian restaurant.

From start to finish, this was hands down the most seamless, stress-free, and beautifully executed event I have ever planned. Jackie, the event coordinator, was phenomenal her communication was timely, clear, and incredibly detailed. She brought the vision to life so effortlessly and made every step of the planning process feel organized and exciting. I always felt supported and confident going into the event. George, the on-site manager, was an absolute dream. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel like all I had to do was show up and enjoy. He coordinated everything flawlessly, was so gracious and kind to our guests, and ran the entire evening with such calm professionalism. The team worked seamlessly, the food came out right on time, the karaoke was perfect it truly was the most hands-on for them and hands-off for me experience I could have ever hoped for. We hosted a company party for 55 people, and the pergola was the perfect space immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, smelled amazing, and gave us our own private, intentional atmosphere with plenty of room to move around and celebrate. It genuinely felt like our own curated space for the night. The food was outstanding. We received endless compliments on the quality the pizzas were immaculate, and the wings deserve an award. Truly top-tier. My company booked here for this event, and we will absolutely continue booking here in the future. The compliments on the décor, the food, the layout, and the overall experience have not stopped coming in. This is, without question, the best place in Norwalk to host an event. The treatment, the space, the staff, and the execution were all unmatched. If you are considering booking here do it. You will not regret it. Thank you, 314 Beer Garden, for creating such an unforgettable night for all of us.

Plenty of sides to choose from, including homemade salads, burgers, and breakfast omelets and sandwiches available all day. Specialty coffees, sodas and a glass case with sweet treats are also available.
I ordered one of their daily specials which consisted of a hot pastrami and melted provolone sandwich. Delicious is how I would describe it and comparable to a foot long sub. The prices are reasonable also. Mostly take out orders, however there's a few seats and a long counter to sit at to eat or to wait while your order is made fresh. Definitely worth coming back to.
