“Everyone at Nutmeg Pharmacy has gone out of their way to provide the medication my son needs. He is a transplant patient and has specialized medical needs. They have been like family to us, making sure he has everything he needs. We have relocated to another state and there are no pharmacies that offer the amazing care that Nutmeg Pharmacy has. They deliver, which is an added bonus. I have recommended them to many people I know that also love them.”

“I have shop at quite a few CVS stores the one in Niantic on Pennsylvania Avenue Timmy is awesome the employees are very friendly the prices at all CVS's are awesome and if you stop and ask an employee in any store and CVS they'll stop and help you unlike a lot of stores where they say they point over in a corner say you'll find it over there when you go over there the merchandise is completely opposite from what you're looking for very frustrating so I give 5 stars by the highest stars to the CVS's the main one that I shop at is in Niantic thanks to all you guys have a great day Patricia assanowicz”

“I have an 88 yo Mother who needed a Flu Shot, Nagy and his fabulous team actually came to here house to administer the shot. This saved a major problem loading her up and exposing her to a potentially live threatening virus exposure. Call CVS or Walgreens you’ll get the “deer in the headlights” look about making a house call. These small businesses need to survive, they are what define the community. Take your business there.”
“Best service that I had ever received. A young man, I think his name was Jeremy, helped me find a phone cord and also helped me with my phone. New phone and I was having major issues. He was more than happy to help me. Usually the service isn’t the best, that is if you can find someone. East Lyme CVS”

“Walgreens in Deep River has greatly improved in the last few years. The general store part of it is well-stocked and well-organized with very friendly staff. The pharmacy is often out of my medication or my insurance doesn’t want to approve it so I know to reorder early. The staff has been very good about working with my insurance and resubmitting to get approval and make sure I can have my medication.My criticism is that their grounds and garden area seem pretty much an afterthought. I would like them to spend a bit of money on making their exterior prettier so it looks well-cared for and. Or like a 7-11 parking lot.”

“The store and cashier's are great, Lynn Beamer is pleasant and helpful. Pharmacy techs Barbara and Mary are the best but the usual pharmacist is horrible. Went to pick up an RX that was ordered 4 days prior that needed an authorization not there. I was told they had faxed the Dr everyday, I contacted the Dr and they never received anything. This is the third time different scripts, different Drs I have been told they never received anything. Thankful that Barbara and Mary are usually able to straighten things out if they are on.”
“I would like to complement the improved service and improved look of CVS in Niantic, Connecticut. The 2 women that were working on Monday evening were a refreshing experience. Kudos to them for improving the look and friendliness, which has not been the norm for quite some time. One suggestion, there are dead bugs at the base of all the windows that face the parking lot. Badly needs a clean up of the windows.This is our only pharmacy in town, take care of it. Thank you.”

“Had a good experience at the drive thru pharmacy. Was picking up a prescription and the line moved quick, and the employees were helpful. Katy helped me and she was very kind. Thank you for your assistance! There is plenty of free parking in their parking lot, and it is not difficult to get in and out of the parking lot via. Pennsylvania ave. Will be back.”

“I Came in 10 minutes before close with a couple of emergency items needed. I figured I would not be greeted happily seeing how late it was. However, to my surprise Cody (Manager) was more than accommodating and happy to help. I was in and out quickly as I was sure the employees were ready and wanted to go home. The Manager Cody and The Cashier Mary, both treated me with curtsy, friendliness, and the professionalism that I more than appreciated. “In these pandemic times it is sometimes hard to make a store work well. Especially because staff shortages are affecting everyone and everything. You can clearly tell that this Walgreens is affected, too, but the few employees that are there are trying hard to be friendly and efficient. True, wait times at the pharmacy have increased a lot, but let's give people a break. They are just as stressed out as most of us are right now. Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future things will change to the better and service will speed up again!”
