Pet Care

Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook
21 Spencer Plains Rd, Old SaybrookYou come away from Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook feeling like the entire team -- from reception, to vet techs, to Dr. Shrack -- love your pet as much as you do. Great folks. And we've had to be there a lot in the last few years with an aging pup.

Saybrook Veterinary Hospital
807 Middlesex Turnpike, Old SaybrookThe Saybrook Vet is AMAZING, the entire staff is super kind and patient. We had to get our 3 month old puppy surgery on his paw and it was overwhelming… BUT the entire team has made it 100 times better. With their kindness and going the extra mile to make sure we’re all supported and that our puppy was comfortable. They don’t just do their job very well they do it with care and kindness. Dr Magruder is also very talented and has made us feel very seen and very well taken care of. Best Vet Around!!! I would suggest them over and over again.

Sip Wine Bar
85 Main St, Old SaybrookOne day wine school blew our “wine-verse” wide open. It was such a phenomenal experience that taught us so much. We have a rejuvenated appreciation and understanding on how to let the wine tell you its story. Highly recommend!

Myrcene Ale Co.
39 Ragged Rock Rd, Old SaybrookIt was the holiday weekend and was very busy but they found us a table for 4 almost immediately. My friends had the hummus platter and stated it was very good.

Liv's Oyster Bar & Restaurant
166 Main St, Old SaybrookEverything about our viste was exceptional. We didn't have a reservation on this very busy week night but Jamie, the GM, made every effort to accommodate. A short 15 min respite with a martini (the Liv, one of their signature cocktails) while we waited for seating at the bar. Once seated, Brian and Ashley were friendly and attentive. We shared the shellfish sampler and a bottle of Daou (Paso Robles Sav Blanc). While still a little peckish, we decided to try the calimari, a perfect compliment to the Sav Blanc. All in all outstanding. We can't wait to return.

Mirsina's Restaurant
162 Main St, Old SaybrookMirsina’s is my go-to restaurant for breakfast. I usually eat there three times a week after my exercise class, and often stop in other days for coffee or lunch. The food and service are terrific. And the rice pudding? Wonderful!
Mirsina’s is the type of place where the regulars recognize and greet you after just a few visits. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem on Main St. in Old Saybrook. You won’t be disappointed.

Fresh Salt
2 Bridge St, Old SaybrookPerfect weather to sit on the patio. Our waitress, Molly, was terrific as she was able to commandeer a blender to get 3 of our party a pina colada. Surf & turf specials were outstanding as was the tropical lobster roll. Only down side was the grilled octopus appetizer special was super salty(the olives) and pretty light on the octopus as there were a lot more olives and fava beans. A beautiful spot for special occasion meals for sure, not inexpensive but what isn't these days. We will definitely return

Johnny Ads
910 Boston Post Rd, Old SaybrookBeen coming here for the last 20 years, always phenomenal. Half the bad reviews youll see for here are people not understanding market price for seafood along the shoreline. Feel like a local and grab some fried clams 10/10
