“I am equidistant to this location and another one but I do prefer shopping at the one in Prospect. They have a good selection of food and goods. I use their app to load coupons and then just plug in my phone # at the register. The line usually isn't very long but even when it is it does move quickly which makes it easy if you just need to run in for one or two items. The sales people are helpful.”
“I am willing to pay a little more when the product is good. Since that is the case I am glad their bakery doesn't charge more, because I would pay it! Their muffins are always soft, and their cakes are never dry! Love it!”
“This is one of the best places in Waterbury area if you are looking for fresh chicken and goat meat items. They have great tasting organic chicken as well and the owners are very well behaved and friendly. Highly recommend ?”
“Your UTZ guy is amazing. I thought he was an employee. I see him there on a regular basis and he has an incredible attitude and demeanor. He always helps me and I thought he worked for the store. I love this store and shop here often. Always clean and employees are always friendly.”
“Great deli and market. I was there for lunch and the line was long ~20 people in front of me. To my surprise I was back in my car in about 10 minutes. They hustle. The sandwich was very good and size was what you expect, not massive but you definitely got what you paid for. I will be back.”
“They sell seeded watermelon!!! Every grocery store I visited during this summer only had the seedless. The seeds are so good for our bodies. Did you know watermelon seeds are packed with nutrients like folate, iron, zinc, copper, magnesium (over 140% of our daily requirement per cup), and potassium. The seeds are highly nutritious because they are also rich in amino acids, proteins and vitamin B complex. Together, these nutrients help boost your body's metabolism and improve your bones' mineral density and health.”
“I love this Big Y. I started going here because it had the best prices for my meds. I found the staff at the pharmacy amazingly nice you might even say Happy and helpful as well. The prices on the wings and chop meat this week can't be better and the staff at the register was equally as pleasant. Highly recommend.”
“What a hidden gem! If you want to be the hit of your party or gathering shop here! Cheese selection is amazing, along with all their snacks, cookies, sweets, and candles. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way to assure your experience is second to none. For the reviews complaining about price, this is a speciality shop, with high end items, if you want cheap feel free to go get your treats at Dollar General or Walmart. But, if you want quality and the opportunity to obtain craft products look no further.”
“I love this place. How did I live in Southington and never ever come here? It's like a corner store with loads of options for shopping. They sell baked goods. The cookies and brownies were amazing and the sandwiches were the best I've had in a long time.”
“I stop here often when in the area and have been a customer for several years. There are great grab-and-go lunch options as well. This is the kind of independent specialty market that I need as mega retailers lack many of the staples”
“They’ve got every odd and end that you might need. When the cashier asked if I found everything- he went and got the last thing I needed from the back room :) very convenient!”
“I have not shopped here in a while as I've moved to Texas but I heard about the fire and as horrible as it was im glad they rebuilt. I remember an older lady named Ann that used to work there that worked at the old Cheshire iga she knew my mom Dawn voos who died in February. She used to give kids coins so they could get a gumball. Mr John and Ms Betsy I'll be moving back to Connecticut next year and will come see your new store my friends be blessed”
“Great store! Super friendly staff in all departments. Their veggies are fresh, baked goods, especially their Carrot Cake, is terrific. And with the Big Y card, there are some discounts to be had.”

“Like the way the store was organized as a lot of budget stores are just looks like somebody threw up and just put everything wherever they felt like it. No rhyme or reason. No organization. This place is very organized. Staff is very nice.”
“They sell a variety of products from all over the world. Prices are reasonable,I can't say I have a problem with this supermarket. I rather it over the others in my area. Good customer service.”
“Key Food Supermarket has some pretty good prices every now & then, but I feel a majority of their groceries are highly overpriced. They have a huge selection of groceries. The store is very clean & organized. The staff is very nice & friendly. Checkout is always quick & easy. If products/groceries were more affordable, I would shop there more often. Other than that, it is a very nice place to shop.”
“Great prices for members only. Because of the low price, they are usually crowded. It is common not to get a receipt when you request one at the pump. Some of the buttons at the pump are worn-out, so if you don't have them memorized, you can't answer the 'yes' or 'no' questions.”
“I visited this store for the first time today and was impressed by the variety of European items they carry.
The store was clean and organized. The staff was attentive and cordial.
I plan to go back soon.”
“Really enjoy going here with family! Nice place for noodles and a lot of exotic snacks and foods. If you cant afford to go to asia come to this store and they have almost everything here. Just some things they dont have, but who cares for real when you got honey butter chips and rice crackers lol.”
“This place is an indispensable in Watertown Connecticut and surrounding towns. Sushi is terrific and many other products are superior. There are two downfalls that make this a four-star review instead of a 5: 1 is the fact that the prices are a bit steep on products that cost the same at other places. The second is the lack of selection. But all in all are very solid place to make a quick trip.”
“The best market for discounted grocery items. It changes weekly, so if you like something, grab it! It might not be stocked the next time you go back. Some items are close to expiring and need to be consumed within a few days, others, like juices, frozen goods, etc., might have damaged caps or boxes, but the food is still sealed and edible. All of the food I've seen has come from Costco, BJ's, Whole Foods, Big Y, Stop & Shop, and others, and there are many name brand items. I appreciate that there is a local place like this that sells these items instead of throwing them away. It is nice to know that they make an effort to try and re-sell the items that, in other cases, may go directly to a landfill. Check out their Facebook page where they post frequently of new items that hit the shelves.”

“If you have a BJ's membership, you can get great gas prices (compared to what you'd see at Exxon, Shell, Mobil, Gulf, etc.) Its also a convenient stop off Rt. 10 in Southington - or off I-84, it's right off the exit. ... Now if you go into the store and buy some of their inventory - you save even more! Example: I paid $2.78 a gal. today, without any discount (as I didn't do any shopping, just needed petro) last week I stopped into the store for dole fruit cups and with the discount on gas for the purchase I had made, gas for me that day was $2.30 a gallon!! You can't beat that, NO BRAINER!!”

“I love Aldi's in Waterbury & always will. The prices are more affordable than other grocery stores! Most cashiers are very friendly, depending on which Aldi's you go to.”

“This grocery store is a great place to buy some of the best Portuguese rolls around! My elderly father frequents this establishment probably once a week. Great people working there, always a friendly place to do buisness!”
“Pat's has been a solid retailer for the Wolcott community for many years. They have a great deli with a wide variety of excellent homemade foods. Their grinders and sandwiches are as good if not better than any of the competition. Hands down it is my "go to" deli.”
“Walsh’s is such a gem! I love that’s it’s a small, family owned market. I live minutes away so I shop here frequently. The store is very clean & all of the staff that I’ve encountered are friendly and helpful. I have not had any issues with any of there products or produce. They have a ton of grab and go items and deli makes some of the best grinders I’ve had in a while so that’s a plus too!”
“Lina's Place is the best Eastern European store in Connecticut. I a customer of Lina's place for almost 20 years. Manager Natasha is very helpful with recommending new and delicious items I usually may have not considered. High quality assortment of foods like Cakes, Candy, and Deli meats.”
“A very charming small-scale grocer. Very neat and well kept. LaBonne's gets some BONUS points from me for the music choice. Listening to Beatles B-Sides while browsing was pretty sweet!”
