“While I’ve only been a member for about 2 months, I can confidently say that I’ve found a true gem in Norwalk. Upon seeing the 30 minute classes with a flexible schedule, I decided to give it a try. I was nervous at first, being that I felt the heaviest and most out of shape I’ve ever felt. Having two small children, I worried I wouldn’t be able to fully commit and that I would be out of place. Not at all. In this short amount of time I’ve felt better physically and mentally than I have in many years. The staff is super supportive and the overall environment is welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.”

“This is a fantastic gym for anyone looking to change their bodies and change their outlook on fitness.While they are very much a group which trains pre-collegiate and pre-pro athletes - I know nothing about that. I’m an actress who does ballet, and I wanted to challenge myself - and I got that challenge.This is a team of coaches who are caring to each individual beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. As a person who has never touched a weight rack (is that even what it’s called?) I feel challenged, informed, supported and SAFE at all times, doing something that was completely new to me.I’ve learned so much from the coaches about the right way to work out, the SAFE way to work out, the best way to eat for working out - things that you can find on you YouTube, but it’s not anywhere near what you can learn from working out with these coaches.Todd, the owner, is incredible and is eager to work with each client to tailor their personal experience at D1.The coaches I’ve worked with - Evan, Ben and Marc, are all amazing at what they do. They’re all very serious about what they want to get done for each individual, but each bring their own humor to the workouts so they’re truly fun - even when you leave looking like you just spent an hour in a sauna.If you have kids working towards professional sports careers - this is the place to go. If you’re somebody looking to get into great shape, pardon me - INCREDIBLE shape - go here.You owe it yourself to go to D1. You will not regret it.”

“Love this Burn Boot Camp. The owner, Emma, is really friendly and makes everyone feel welcome and able to achieve. She runs a great gym with a positive and supportive atmosphere. All the instructors bring high energy to their classes, making it a fun and happy place to work out, and they adapt exercises to your fitness level and help you with form as required. “I joined the local big box gym as 51-year-old couch potato. It was inexpensive and they had tons of shiny equipment. However, the initial excitement wore off there was no ongoing motivation or excitement despite being surrounded by 100+ staff and members.A year later my life completely changed after walking into Rough House Fitness. The community of coaches and members is 100% welcoming and supportive. Everyone gets along – teens to 60+, men and women, all socio-economic backgrounds. The group is bound by the common goal to have fun being fit.The workouts change daily keeping boredom at bay. Elements include aerobics, calisthenics and weightlifting. Each workout is scalable to any age or fitness level – nobody is too old or out of shape to participate.Seven years later I’m still excited to workout each time. I have so many new friends – people I would not have met otherwise. Most important, I am in better shape now approaching age 60 than I was at 20!Give Rough House a try. “Maggie and I have been working with Seth for three years now. He has been extremely influential in our growth and development since the very start. He personalizes our workouts to focus on not only our strength, but also improving in areas specific to our sport (Ice Hockey). He also gives us great nutritional advice, and emphasizes the importance of recovery, while also working on it with us. The environment is Fit Club is extremely welcoming and positive, as it is not Seth creating this dynamic, but also the other trainers as well. I enjoy acquatic aerobic classes , during covid class limits and mask requirements exist . Can be difficult to sign up for class due to covid limits . A great place to stay fit .”

“I came in from out of town visiting family for a few days and stopped here because of its proximity to where we were staying. But, I would gladly go out of my way to come back to this gym!
