“What an amazing stay we had at Pleasant View! I specifically want to mention the spectacular experience we had at The Hatch! The food was amazing and we couldn’t ask for better service from our waitress Francesca! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and especially accommodating to our two small children and our allergy issues! If we could have Francesca be our waitress every time we stepped into a restaurant then we certainly would!”

“If you're looking for a place right on the ocean, this is your ideal place. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff are very helpful, compassionate and kind. Al went up and beyond to ensure that our stay was the best of the best! We will be visiting this hotel again and again!

Nearby activities: There are a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. During the time we went there was a fair at the state beach.
Noteworthy details: The staff will make you feel like family. Definitely a place you want to visit”
“We had an amazing stay here! The room was beautiful, and the house with its mermaid decor is magical. The breakfast that Josephine provided was amazing, as well as her recommendations for sight seeing! The location was also perfect, within very close walking distance of shops and restaurants. Overall we loved staying here and will definitely come back!”

“We always stay here when we go to Foxwoods. Great prices, good breakfast, clean rooms.Convenient to the casino (15 mins), although the road is VERY narrow and sketchy at night! And we're from Maine, so we're used to windy, narrow, dark roads. Driving slow is a must!The hotel is great though, will stay the again next time we're in town this summer. Looking forward to trying the pool and bringing our dog!Noteworthy details: Fitness center is very small and basic, but I always use the treadmill. There's also weights, an ancient chest press *that works*, and a step machine. Only ever seen one other person in there! There's a water cooler and towels too.”
“We stayed at Watch Hill while attending a wedding at Ocean House. Everything was lovely, from start to finish. All the amenities and staff courtesies provided by Ocean House at half the cost - though both are quite pricey. Watch Hill is operated like a set of condo rentals, with little on-site staffing, but there is a small reception area with breakfast and evening snacks which we appreciated, and the Ocean House staff could not have been more accommodating in transporting us between the two properties (just a 2-3 block walk up/down a hill) and attending to our needs.”
“The Ocean View Hotel is a night away worth taken, falling asleep while listening to the waves crashing, late night walk down the ri shore with your soalmate and its not possable with out the wonderful staff keeping a friendly, and safe environment, wheather with you family or your bebo this place is super duper perfecto.”

“Very nice place with clean rooms and polite staff ready to help and make sure that you have what you need. The room has good bedding and linens and fridge. The pool is clean and a nice size (shaped like a fish!). They make an effort to provide a good experience. It’s nicely situated near Mystic without the higher prices.”

“Descent Hotel. Rooms are suites which is nice if you're staying more than a day. Stovetop plus pots/pans which is a huge money saver, full size frig another plus. Hot breakfast 7 days a week. When you travel it's really nice to have more than a bed. Couch, table and chairs, work desk, separate bedroom, huge closet. It really makes it more comfortable to have amenities. They also have pool, workout room, basketball half court.”

“My roommate and my service dog and I stayed here for about two weeks and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Mystic area. It's clean and the staff is very personable and nice. The price is very reasonable as well. I am definitely going to stay there again.”
“The hotel could use some improvements for sure. Honestly it's not bad. The room I stayed in had a jacuzzi shower combo. The faucet for the bath doesnt completely close when showering, and the top of the shower unit was a little off. The room is comfortable and smelt neutral/clean. The room is spacious and the balcony is a nice touch. The pool area is warm and the pool was clean. Halways to the rooms were also very clean. Guest services was fantastic and friendly. The price is fair, and location is awesome. Again, it could use some preventive maintenance as there is rust on the fire exit from the pool, but ive stayed in way worse. It's a good hotel thats good for the money. Not a 4 star hotel, just a good hotel.”

“Great place to stay. We stay at the Inn for 2 days and loved it. Rooms were very quaint and clean. Staff was out of this world, (especially the nice young man on nights-I'm sorry I can't remember his name)! They all went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck to watch the sun go down. Easy walk to downtown area. Enjoyed dinner at Rocks 21 and food was delicious and staff just as awesome! Can't wait to come back!”
