37 S Broad St # 4, PawcatuckWe have been taking our cat Grayleigh here for most of her life, and she is now 22 years old and still fairly healthy. She developed a thyroid condition several years ago, and Dr. Rosenberg worked with us finding the right level of meds. Not all vets are the same. In the past, I took a different cat to a vet who was afraid of cats and wanted to sedate her to examine her and trim her claws! I left! Our Grayleigh is afraid of almost everyone, or at least was until a few years ago. But she took an immediate liking to Dr. Rosenberg, even letting him comb out a nasty mat she would get on her back about every 4-6 months without flinching. By the way he treats animals, it's quite obvious that he loves animals. The staff is all very caring, and I would highly recommend this Vet Clinic.

The crust on the seared tuna was crunchy and flavorful while the tuna was a perfect medium rare. I especially enjoyed the combination of macadamia nuts, house dressing, golden raisins, and parmesan cheese in the salad as it was the perfect balance of sweet, salty, creamy, and tart to accompany the tuna. The crème brûlée was crunchy on the top, delicate and creamy in the middle, and well-balanced with vanilla. Great lunch!

I believe there was only one waitress and the place was packed so she was spread thin, not her fault, but it took a long time to get the check and leave. Disappointed.

523 Taugwonk Rd, StoningtonThe setting is wonderful in the hills in northern Stoningon. The wine is good, not great, but perfectly acceptable for a Connecticut vineyard. Sit in the chairs on the lawn and look out on the rows of grapes. An enjoyable afternoon.

2 Washington St, MysticThis was my second time dining at Red36, and once again they did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. We kicked things off with a warm, hearty clam chowder, followed by their crispy Bang Bang Shrimp and a fresh dozen Ninigret oysters. For the main dish, the seared 5-spice Ahi tuna sandwich with fries was the perfect finish. Another great experience at one of my favorite spots!
