Pet Facilities in Charlestown
Pet Grooming
Mutley's Grooming Salon
14 Charlestown Beach Rd, CharlestownMelissa and her team have groomed all of our dogs over the years; a Barbet, a West Highland Terrier and two Bouviers. They are always looking good when I pick them up. They get the haircut based on their breed. I would recommend them all the time and I have been to groomers all over the state from Providence to Westerly.

Pet Care
Charlestown Animal Hospital, J. Lawrence Dunn VMD
5668 Post Road, CharlestownHad a canine emergency. Dr Dunn stayed late and saw me that morning. He is extremely competent and a nice person. The cost for the service was very fair Highly recommend.

Atlantic Animal Hospital & Wellness Center
5001 South County Trail, CharlestownThey were able to get is in right away when our new puppy had diarrhea, when our old vet had a month wait and a crazy lottery system for same day sick appointments. We are so happy we switched! Everyone is kind and patient, and it never feels like they are rushing you out the door to get to the next appointment. They take the time to answer questions and chat about your pet. I highly recommend Atlantic animal hospital!

Other
Royal Flush Havanese
95 Old Coach Road, CharlestownIt was a pleasure working with Chelsea at Royal Flush Havanese. She answered all of my questions by email promptly (one email she replied to me in 18 minutes!). We were looking for a particular type of Havanese (at the larger end of the Havanese spectrum) and she led us to a great larger pup. She sent pictures and videos and we fell in love with her. All due to Chelsea! Thanks Chelsea!
Update 5 months later...
I purchased an almost 7 month old puppy from Royal Flush Havanese. When she was spayed at 9 months old, our vet noticed dental abnormalities and recommended a dental veterinarian consult. There were congenital oral problems apparent, and she had surgery at 12 months to correct these health issues. Royal Flush Havanese gave me a full refund of her purchase price even though this was 5 months after the purchase of this puppy. She is now recovered and healthy and a perfect Havanese young dog that is an important loved and loving part of our family. I can vouch that Royal Flush Havanese stands by their health guarantee and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a member of this great breed.
