“They are such an awesome place to bring your dog for a dog wash! We’ve been coming here for years with both of our goldens. Love the setup and also the care from the owner and workers. We also do the nail trim and it’s nice for the dog to be able to lay down with us nearby. 5 stars!”

I’m always impressed by their deep knowledge, not just in plants, but also in proper quarantine practices for both plants and reptiles, ensuring the health and safety of every animal and habitat.
One of my favorite things about NEHerp is their one-on-one bioactive enclosure building. They take the time to tailor everything to the specific species’ needs, from the plants to the microfauna, creating enclosures that are both functional and beautiful.
They (All employees!!!) also go above and beyond in supporting reptile rescue, spreading awareness on proper, ethical breeding and rescue practices. It’s clear they care deeply about the animals, the people who keep them, and the community as a whole.

“Eric owner manager is a very nice and helpful person. He is quite knowledgeable about perennials annuals bushes and trees. He understands what will thrive in the Farmington valley.
The garden Center has many bird feeders and pet goods and garden novelties and yes Eric knows alot about our local wildlife. Great place to ask questions and chat!”

“Love Harris! Mainly go here for life feeder mice/rats for our sneks but always browse the many varieties of for sale reptiles. They have some huge tortoises too which are not for sale but cool to watch. The service is always top notch and one of the associates actually really helped us out when our new bumble bee ball python wouldn’t eat. She recommended live and much larger than what we were trying and he ate immediately! Will remain a loyal customer.”

“I just recently discovered this pet store & I absolutely love it. A few months ago I switched all 4 of my dogs to a raw diet and I had trouble finding a pet store that even sold raw food. A few other stores in the area are extremely overpriced so when I stumbled upon WAGS I was pleasantly surprised. They have raw food, freeze dried raw, dehydrated treats, bone broth, goats milk & many more things I love to buy my dogs and they are at reasonable prices! The owner is very helpful and always so kind when we come in. Definitely worth checking out!”

“Better than TSC by a mile! All my plants from Smithland are thriving. No dead bare root fruit plants to be seen. I do wish the puddles in the plant section were swept out so they could dry, but that's my biggest complaint.”

“This CFMoto dealership sets the bar for everybody else!! Great assistance at very capacity. Customer service, selection, technical service/repairs, and so much more. I’ve searched and priced at very dealer in CT and nearby NY and Mass. NOBODY comes close to beating their prices! I never knew or heard of this dealership or the people there until a couple weeks ago. And EVERYBODY including in there many other stores, they are extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. They have very talented and competent CfMoto trained service techs there too. I highly recommend to anybody to contact these guys for pricing. They truly want you to be happy with your purchase. Not just to make a sale. My review is a little extended because I was (now retired) an Aerospace/Medical customer/supplier auditor for a couple decades and know good business practices when I see them. “I brought my pup for a bath and a haircut at Petco of Avon for his scheduled time at 1:15. The young man at grooming immediately took him in, and we discussed how short he should go. He also wanted to see his most up to date Rabies vaccine. He said he would call me when he's ready in around three hours.So I went around town to do some errands. I got the call around 4:00 that he's ready and I could pick him up. I couldn't wait to see his fresh new summer haircut!I was so, so very embarrassed with what the groomer told me. He said they couldn't cut around his face, he was way too aggressive. He really isn't an aggressive dog at all. He's had most of his teeth removed, so couldn't be aggressive by biting.I thought they did a great job on his body, and he smelled so fresh and clean. His head was a bit uneven because he was wiggly. They didn't charge me for this haircut, that was pretty embarrassing too, they worked on him for a long time. They didn't even want to accept my tip. I truly appreciate their honesty and their hard work. I'm going to work on fixing the unevenness my self.I recommended Petco of Avon even if I won't be returning here. They are hard working and honest. If your pup could sit still it'll be so much easier for everyone.”
“They're pretty cool here. I'm delivering here and they let park in the back no problem. However, the alley dock is ridiculous! Very difficult to get lined up because there is zero room to maneuver! I was brushing the trees and on a patch of dirt that probably everyone winds up on. Be prepared to have your backing skills challenged if you're a semi driver!?”
“I think it's great that Petsmart let's Louie's Legacy Cat Shelter bring cats there so people can see them, with the goal of getting them adopted.
I was looking to see if my local Petsmart had some cats for me to look at.
They did - and I immediately fell in love with one of them.
They are very careful about finding the right home for a cat - but the adoption process went very smoothly in a very timely manner.
The girl from Louie's Legacy was very sweet and patient as she introduced us to our newest member of the family.

“Update:I left a negative review for this store a year ago. I went back a few times after that, and I have to take back what I said. Things have improved since my last visit. Their fish selection is much better. The prices are competitive, if not better, than other local stores, and the staff is friendly. The manager was helpful, knowledgeable, and very polite. I will definitely go back again.”

“We always use this petco and all the staff are awesome. We recently got a new puppy and needed to exchange the harness we got him for a bigger size. Tameeka was amazing and made the process so easy! She was super friendly and helpful and let me know if we had any issues with the dog play pen I was also picking up that day we could return that no problem as well. 10/10 would recommend”
“I've been shopping here for about two years now, first with my older dog (6yrs), and now with my puppy (6mo) as well. Both of my dogs both love the offerings of toys, supplies, and "bakery" selection! I can always find what I'm looking for, and Pet Supplies Plus frequently offers discounts on products - as well as your entire order - if you subscribe to their emails!
My only downside is that the aisles are very narrow, so it's not always ideal for navigating with a cart. But, the store is always tidy and the staff is always friendly!”

“AMAZING! my boys Kevin & Wyatt (mini tigers) are no simple duo. Together they can be sweet, but not when they are bring groomed! Claudette and her team are fantastic. When I pick them up they just look beautiful. Everyone is so fun to work with. I like going there and seeing the birds. The boys are always in and out at reasonable times, even on busy days. I admire how Claudette runs her ship and would GLADLY recommend her services!! Thank you Claudette!!”
